Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Palm Square Apartment 2” on the booking site, I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds pretty basic, and let’s face it, apartment-style hotels can be hit or miss. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got that comfortable, lived-in feeling that makes you want to kick off your shoes and stay a while – which is exactly what happened during my week there.

The thing about Palm Square is that it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s a solid 3-star spot that punches above its weight, and honestly, that 8.1 rating makes total sense once you’re there. The apartment setup means you’ve got way more space than your typical hotel room – I’m talking a proper living area where you can actually spread out, plus a kitchenette that’s surprisingly well-equipped. I mean, I’ve stayed in 4-star places with worse coffee makers. The beds are comfortable (not luxury-level, but definitely good enough for a solid night’s sleep), and there’s this nice natural light that comes through in the mornings. The whole vibe is sort of like staying at a friend’s place, if your friend had really good taste in furniture and kept everything spotlessly clean.

What really won me over, though, were all those little details that show someone actually cares about this place. The Wi-Fi is fast – and I mean actually fast, not that painful hotel internet that barely loads your email. Check-in was smooth, no awkward waiting around in a cramped lobby because, well, there isn’t really a traditional lobby situation going on. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing, and they’ve got this relaxed professionalism that makes everything feel easy. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which honestly can make or break a trip depending on where you are. The neighborhood itself has this genuine, non-touristy feel to it – you’ll hear local life happening around you, but it’s not disruptive. I actually enjoyed the sounds of the area settling down in the evenings. It felt real, you know? Plus, there are some solid local spots within walking distance that you probably won’t find in guidebooks, which is always a bonus when you want to eat somewhere that isn’t crawling with other travelers taking photos of their food.

Hotel in Budva booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally popular music festivals and beach parties.

  Budva old town is very busy and there are loud music and people around till midnight or even after. in against silent till 10am..The apartment is in a small street and luckily have well sealed windows , so even with smaller kids are great!

  Location is very good. 2 separate bedrooms.
  
  What could be improved: The apparent is in a quiet poor condition. The kitchen is shabby. The fridge was very small, old, freezer had no door, it was full of ice. There is only necessary dishes. No hairdryer , no shampoo, shower gels. One of beds broke and the bottom felt down on my feet.
