This one’s different though.

The thing is, Parapid gets the apartment-hotel balance just right. You’ve got proper kitchenettes that aren’t just for show – I’m talking full-size fridges and cooktops that actually work, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying more than a couple nights and getting tired of restaurant meals every day. The owners clearly understand that people want to feel settled, not like they’re camping out in someone else’s space. And the apartments themselves? They’re clean in that reassuring way where you can tell housekeeping actually cares about details, not just changing sheets. I noticed things like properly stocked toilet paper (sounds silly, but you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue) and towels that don’t feel like sandpaper.

What really sold me on the place was how quiet it stays, even during Budva’s crazy summer season. The building’s positioned just right – close enough that you’re not hiking forever to reach the Old Town or the main beaches, but tucked away from the main drag where those open-air bars blast music until 3 AM. You can actually sleep with the windows open, which is huge when you’re dealing with those warm Montenegro nights and want to catch the sea breeze. The whole setup feels more residential than touristy, if that makes sense. I’d see the same local faces in the morning, people heading to work or walking their dogs, which gave it this authentic neighborhood vibe that’s pretty rare in central Budva these days. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no complicated key card systems or confusing building layouts. Just practical, unpretentious hospitality that actually works. Honestly, that 9.1 rating isn’t just inflated review scores; it reflects the kind of place where small things are done right consistently. It’s not trying to be flashy or Instagram-worthy, but for travelers who want a genuine base to explore from without dealing with hotel nonsense, it just makes sense.

  This studio was lovely and as described. The host were absolutely wonderful and were on hand to help us with any issues. We will definitely be returning here the next time we are in Budva.

  The room was clean and the host were very nice.
  
  What could be improved: The location was not great, it was far from the old town, it was hard to find and it's a shared inside block so you could hear all the noise from the neighbours. The "terrace" is a small patio in the ground floor that gives to the other houses inside the place. You can only pay in cash and the room looks bigger in the pictures than it actually is.

  Bed in the room was comfortable and the room was clean. Furnitures were new. This place was near the beach.
