You know what surprised me about Pejovic Residence? It’s one of those places that completely flies under the radar despite being absolutely brilliant. I mean, when you see “3-star” you’re not exactly expecting much, but honestly – this place punches way above its weight. The location alone had me sold within five minutes of walking around.

The thing is, Budva can be absolutely mental during peak season, with tourists packed shoulder-to-shoulder down by the Old Town walls, but the Pejovic sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk everywhere yet far enough back that you actually get some peace. I could hear the faint hum of the coastal road in the morning, but nothing that kept me up – actually quite soothing if I’m being honest. The family running it (definitely feels family-owned) clearly knows their stuff because check-in was smooth as butter, and they had these little local tips that you just don’t get from big chain hotels. Like, they told me exactly which bakery opens earliest for proper Balkan pastries, and which beach spots the tour groups haven’t discovered yet.

What really gets me is how they’ve managed to keep everything feeling personal while still being properly professional. The rooms aren’t fancy – I mean, we’re talking clean, comfortable, good wifi, decent shower pressure – but there’s this attention to detail that you notice. Fresh towels that actually smell fresh, not like industrial detergent. Windows that open properly so you can get that Mediterranean breeze going. And honestly, the view from my room wasn’t spectacular or anything, but there’s something about looking out over Budva’s terracotta rooftops with the Adriatic glinting in the distance that just works. I spent way too many mornings with coffee just taking it in.

The whole area around the residence has this lived-in feel that I love – you’ve got actual Montenegrins going about their daily business, little konobas where locals eat, grocery shops that aren’t tourist traps. It’s maybe a fifteen-minute stroll down to the beach and Old Town, which is perfect because you can escape the madness when you need to. Parking was surprisingly painless too, which if you’ve driven around Budva in summer, you’ll know is basically a miracle.

Look, I’ve stayed in fancier places along the coast, but there’s something about the Pejovic that just clicks. Maybe it’s that 9.8 rating reflecting what happens when people genuinely care about their guests, or maybe it’s just that rare combination of location, value, and personal touch that’s getting harder to find. Either way, I’d absolutely go back – and I’m already planning to.

  Well Iwe like it all especially having a possibility to order a pizza 🍕 from a land lord and it was fabulous taste. Accommodation is wery clean and well maintained. Landlorda are so welcoming and on top hospitality.

  Apartament czysty, duży. Z basenu nie skorzystaliśmy (podróż w kwietniu), ale mogliśmy podziwiać piękny widok za nim. Okolica spokojna, można posłuchać śpiewu ptaków, jednocześnie blisko głównej drogi. Jest to kawałek od Budvy, miejsce raczej dla zmotoryzowanych.
  Wszystko wyglądało jak na zdjęciach. Duży bezpłatny parking pod obiektem.
  Jednak najbardziej moje serce skradli właściciele- mega sympatyczni, niesamowicie pomocni. Dopytywali czy wszystko ok, czy nic nam nie trzeba. Natychmiastowo reagowali na zgłoszone sugestie i problemy. Ogólnie z czystym sercem polecam

  Mooi appartement met alles erin. Keukentje, koelkast, aparte slaapkamer, wasmachine en ruim balkon. Mooi, schoon zwembad! Maar bovenal vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Niets was teveel voor ze. Zeker aanrader!
