Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from Perla when I first walked up – three stars don’t usually get me excited, you know? But this place completely caught me off guard in the best possible way. There’s something about it that just feels right from the moment you step inside. Maybe it’s the way the staff actually remembers your name after one night, or how the lobby has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to sink into one of those well-worn armchairs with a book.

What really gets me about Perla is how they’ve nailed all the little things that bigger hotels somehow mess up. The shower pressure is actually incredible (I mean, you’d be surprised how rare that is), and the beds – well, I slept better there than I have in places costing twice as much. The rooms have this understated charm that grows on you. Nothing flashy, but everything works exactly like it should. I loved how quiet it stays at night too, which is pretty impressive considering how centrally located it is. You’ll hear some street sounds during the day, but it never feels intrusive – more like the gentle hum of a neighborhood that’s actually alive.

The thing that really sold me on this place though was the breakfast. They do this simple continental setup, but it’s clearly made with actual care – fresh pastries that taste like someone’s grandmother made them, coffee that doesn’t taste like burnt water, and fruit that’s actually ripe. I ended up chatting with other guests every morning (something that never happens at those sterile chain places), and everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels with marble lobbies and fancy spas that left me feeling meh, but Perla gets that hospitality is really about making people feel welcome. The 9.5 rating makes complete sense once you experience it – it’s the kind of place you find yourself recommending to friends without even thinking about it.

  Amazing old town view, super nice host who was waiting for us till 1 a.m. for the late check in 🥹 The apartment is cozy and full of light. It’s fully equipped with everything needed. Absolutely clean and beautiful!

  The homey property is overlooking the city and has a beautiful view. Its uphill and near the highway and 10-15 minutes walk away from Budva old town. Also, 5 minutes away from one of best resto in Budva ‘Restoran Vista Vidikovac’. Everything was spotless 💯 in the apartment like your own home; they have kitchen, fridge, toilet, washing machine, dining room,flat screen TV, Airconditioner, kitchen utensils (even condiments are available), plus your own balcony with the scenic view. Above all, the hospitality of the owner Ana and Osmo was so overwhelming and beyond since day 1 until the end of my stay. They even arranged to pick me up from airport (Osmo helped me that day) and drop off to apartment (and Ana even drive me again to airport on my last day). I am so thankful for their kind assistance and they are so easy reach on their mobile whenever you needed them. (besides they live in the neighborhood😊) They treat their guest like a family and their kindness that truly means a lot and made the travel much brighter..🫶🏻🌞💕

  The view of the accommodation was legendary. All Budva was in front of our eyes and when we woke up, we’re starting a great day. It was also very clean, comfortable, spacious and comfortable. Anna and Osmo are fine.
  
  What could be improved: The location was very bad. If you don’t have a car, it’s really tiring to reach. There is a very steep slope and it is very bad to walk that road every day.
