Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Pizana Budva Central? It’s one of those rare finds where a 3-star place punches way above its weight class. I mean, that 9.8 rating isn’t some fluke – this place genuinely gets it right in ways that matter when you’re actually staying somewhere, not just looking at glossy photos online.
The location on Mediteranska is honestly perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without the chaos. You’re maybe a three-minute walk from the Old Town walls (I timed it because I’m weird like that), but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the street performers and late-night bar crowds that can make sleeping impossible during peak season. The building itself has this understated charm – it’s not trying to be some boutique showpiece, just solid and welcoming. What really impressed me was how they’ve managed the sound situation. Most places this close to Budva’s center, you’re either listening to techno until 3 AM or tourist groups shuffling past your window at dawn. Here, the rooms are surprisingly quiet, especially the ones facing away from the main pedestrian flow.
The staff actually knows the area – like, really knows it. When I asked about parking (because let’s be real, driving in Budva can be a nightmare), they didn’t just point vaguely toward some paid lot. They walked me through the whole situation: where the free spots are if you don’t mind a short walk, which paid lots are worth it, even when the street cleaning happens so you don’t get towed. That kind of local knowledge is gold. The rooms themselves are clean and functional without being fancy – good beds, decent shower pressure, and honestly that’s what you need when you’re spending most of your day exploring anyway. I particularly liked that they didn’t go overboard with “design elements” that just get in your way. Simple, comfortable, everything works.
What sealed the deal for me was the little things they do right. Check-in was smooth even when I showed up earlier than expected, they had actual local recommendations (not just the tourist trap restaurants), and when the air conditioning in one room was acting up, they sorted it immediately without making me feel like I was asking for the moon. You can walk to Slovenska Beach in about ten minutes, hit up the morning market for fresh produce, or grab coffee at one of those tiny local spots that don’t even have signs. The whole area has this lived-in feel during the day – actual residents going about their business mixed with tourists – which I much prefer to those sterile resort zones. Honestly, for the price point and location, it’s hard to find fault with Pizana. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t, just delivering solid hospitality in a spot that lets you experience Budva like you actually live there temporarily.

Perfect stay in the heart of Budva – Alba from Albania – July 25, 2025 (10/10)
A comfortable apartment with all necessary amenities and very clean. The location was excellent — close to the Old Town, the port, the promenade, and just a few meters from the bus station with connections to nearby beaches like Sveti Stefan. There was also a large Voli supermarket nearby. The host was very communicative and helped us a lot with her suggestions. We truly enjoyed our stay at Pizana Budva Central and highly recommend it.

Pizana Budva Central is, by far, the best possible apartment in Budva you can get for this price! Location of the apartment can not be better: 3min walk to the sea and Old town, 10min walk to the Mogren beach…it does not get any better than that! Apartment is in the center of Budva, but surprisingly located in a very quiet corner with no direct sun heating it up. Very clean and spacious, with good Wi-Fi and all the possible apartment amenities you might need. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, changing our bedsheets and towels regularily as if we were staying in a hotel. The next time we will be coming to Budva, will check the availability of this apartment before looking for anything else. Amazing place!
A successful stay sprinkled with beautiful and exciting things. – Valerian from Romania – September 10, 2024 (10/10)
We are very happy with the choice made and we will come back with great pleasure. Kindness and professionalism you attach it with the responsibility of the word of the host. Thank you!
A very pleasant stay – recommend! – Jana from Latvia – September 9, 2024 (9/10)
Very nice apartments in the middle price range. Excellent location – close to the sea, the old town and a supermarket in the next building. You can use sofa for sleeping. We stayed for 7 days and in the middle of our stay they cleaned and changed bed linen and towels. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very friendly and helpful hostess. We easily agreed on an early check-in.
What could be improved: Things to keep in mind: 1) the apartment is on the third floor, which may be uncomfortable for older people 2) we would like to have a night light next to the sofa and a full-size mirror 3) the view from the balcony is not the best still having a balcony is already a very big advantage in this price range 🙂Exceptional – Slavica from Serbia – July 19, 2025 (10/10)
