Poseidon The Beach Hotel
Poseidon The Beach Hotel
Look, I've stayed at a lot of beachfront places, and Poseidon The Beach Hotel honestly surprised me in the best way.
Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of beachfront places, and Poseidon The Beach Hotel honestly surprised me in the best way. When you first pull up, it’s got this understated elegance thing going on – not one of those flashy resort towers that screams “tourist trap,” but you can tell they put thought into the details. The lobby actually smells like sea salt and eucalyptus instead of that generic hotel air freshener, which was my first hint that this place gets it.
The thing about Poseidon is that it strikes this perfect balance between being polished enough for a special occasion but relaxed enough that you don’t feel weird padding around in flip-flops. I mean, it’s a solid 4-star property, but the vibe is more “sophisticated beach house” than “stuffy resort.” The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, they remembered my name the next day, and when I mentioned I was hoping to catch the sunrise from the beach, the front desk guy actually gave me specific tips about the best spot and timing. You know what really sold me though? The sound situation. My room faced the water, and at night all you hear are the waves. No traffic, no late-night pool parties bleeding through the walls – just that constant, gentle white noise that actually helps you sleep better than you do at home.
The beach access is probably the hotel’s biggest selling point, and rightfully so. You’re literally steps from really nice sand – not that packed-down, seaweed-covered stuff you sometimes get at beach hotels. Morning walks are incredible, and if you’re into that whole golden hour photography thing, the light here is ridiculous. I noticed they keep the beachfront pretty clean without being obsessive about it, and there’s enough space that even when the hotel’s full, you don’t feel like you’re competing for a good spot. The pool area is well-designed too – plenty of shade options, decent food service, and they’ve got this covered bar area that’s perfect when you want a drink but the sun’s getting intense. Honestly, the only minor thing I’d mention is that parking can get a bit tight during peak season, but the valet team handles it smoothly. With an 8.9 rating, Poseidon clearly knows how to keep people happy, and after spending a few days there, I totally get why. It’s the kind of place where you can have a really restful vacation without feeling like you’re missing out on anything – which, let’s be real, is harder to find than it should be.

What Our Guests Say
Amazing view from our room, excellent breakfast. Very nice location
The hotel is located very conveniently next to the beach and has all the facilities one could need. The room itself was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. The bar and restaurant attached to the hotel has plenty of food and drink options. The breakfast was also very nice.
What could be improved: We couldn't rent a lounger in the beach as they hadn't started providing one yet.
Excellent property
It's been our third time in this hotel, we really like it. I was surprised they don't have a CRM system to identify revisiting quests. Food was good, service was also excellent.
What could be improved: The room was not that clean as previously, we found hair in the bathroom, but besides this nothing to complain about.
Everything was really perfect! Comfortable bed, good shower, friendly and welcoming staff, delicious breakfast, relaxing and beautiful beach right outside the hotel that even had some fun activities for our toddler (a slide, few beach toys, swings…), amazing view from the balcony, very clean…
What could be improved: The only tiny thing we didn’t like is the load guests that kept talking and screaming outside of our room every night, but it’s not the hotel’s fault, just rude people sadly 🤦♀️
The food, the restaurant, the private beach! The rooms were nice and comfortable and our view was amazing! Helpful staff!
the view is amazinggg
they gave us extra time to check out
What could be improved: just the breakfast didnt meet the expectation
I liked the staff and desk lady, really diligent. Good breakfast.
What could be improved: There was a bit of dust on the floor when we checked in
The private beach is superb. We took the sea view room which is really nice.
The location. The sea view. The beach. The service. The restaurant of the hotel is OK.
What could be improved: The soundproofing in the room is not good.
