The address – 53 Mediteranska – might not mean much if you’re planning from home, but once you’re there, you’ll realize you’ve landed in this perfect sweet spot that’s neither too touristy nor too far from everything that matters.

The thing about this place is that it feels like someone actually thought about how people live, not just how they vacation for a week. I mean, the apartment setup gives you space to breathe – you know that cramped hotel room feeling where you’re practically sleeping on top of your suitcase? Yeah, none of that here. The kitchen isn’t just for show either; I actually used it, which says something because I’m usually too lazy to cook when I’m traveling. The whole space has this lived-in quality that’s comfortable without being worn down, if that makes sense. And honestly, for a 4-star place, the attention to smaller details impressed me – good water pressure (trust me, this matters more than you think), decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and windows that actually block out sound when you need to sleep.

What really won me over, though, was the location’s rhythm. Mediteranska street has this interesting dual personality – during the day it’s quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think, but you’re still just a short walk from Budva’s old town and that whole waterfront scene. The beach crowds thin out by the time you’re heading back in the evening, so you get these nice peaceful moments on the balcony. Parking was surprisingly manageable too, which anyone who’s driven around Budva in summer will tell you is basically a minor miracle. The 8.9 rating makes sense when you add it all up – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Montenegro, but it delivers on the stuff that actually affects your day-to-day experience. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend more than just a few nights.
