The stone walls here are thick too, which is something you don’t think about until you’re trying to sleep and realize you can barely hear the nightlife buzz that’s happening just outside. Parking though – well, let’s just say you’ll want to drop your bags first, then go hunt for a spot. It’s Old Town, so medieval city planning meets modern car ownership, you know?

What really sets this place apart is how they’ve managed to blend the apartment experience with actual hotel-level attention. The check-in was smooth – no awkward key exchanges in random cafés or waiting around for someone’s cousin to show up with keys. Everything felt professional but not sterile, if that makes sense. The apartments themselves have this perfect balance of old-world charm (you’re literally living inside centuries-old walls) and modern comfort. I’m talking proper air conditioning that actually works during those brutal July afternoons, plus kitchens that aren’t just for show. Actually being able to grab fresh produce from the morning market near the harbor and cook it up – that’s when vacation rental life clicks. The Wi-Fi was solid too, which matters more than we’d like to admit these days.

Here’s the thing about staying in Budva’s Old Town – timing is everything. During peak summer, those stone streets can feel like a party that never stops, which is either perfect or terrible depending on what you’re after. But even then, R Club somehow manages to be this calm pocket where you can recharge. The staff clearly knows the area inside and out too – they’ll point you toward the good beach spots (hint: skip the crowded main stretch and head toward Slovenska Beach early morning) and actually useful restaurant recommendations, not just the tourist traps. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but it’s definitely a step above your typical vacation rental chaos. For what you’re getting in this location, with this level of service, it’s honestly kind of a steal.

  The location is great, right in the middle of the old town! However, there was no parking, and we paid a lot for it. The view from the window is just like the pictures, and the host was very nice!
  
  What could be improved: There was no parking free available nearby so we paid , and the facilities were a bit older than in the pictures, but everything else was great!

  Great location for exploring Budva old town. Very clean and tidy. Accommodated us leaving luggage early in the day and our room was also ready early. Easy to find with good clear instructions.
  Be prepared – window is right above the beach bar so you can hear music late into the night – I had an early start next day so Earplugs worked a treat.

  It’s in a great location un the old town. The beach is on the doorstep but also close to boats and kayaks for hire plays all the restaurants that the old town offers
