You know what really struck me about Resort Bevilacqua? It’s one of those places that actually lives up to its 4-star rating without trying too hard to impress you. I mean, when you first pull up, it doesn’t scream luxury resort – it’s more subtle than that, which honestly I appreciated after staying at some pretty over-the-top places recently.
The whole vibe here is sort of effortlessly elegant, if that makes sense. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that immediately puts you at ease, and the staff actually seems to know what they’re doing (you’d be surprised how rare that is). Check-in was smooth – no awkward waiting around or fumbling with key cards. Speaking of which, parking was surprisingly easy, which always makes me happy because there’s nothing worse than circling around looking for a spot after a long day of travel.
What really won me over though was how the place feels during different times of day. Mornings are beautifully quiet – you can actually hear birds instead of traffic, which tells you something about the location. The breakfast area gets decent natural light, and there’s this subtle coffee aroma that drifts through the common areas that just works. Evenings have a completely different energy – not loud or party-focused, but there’s this gentle buzz of conversation that makes the place feel alive without being overwhelming. I stayed during what seemed like a moderately busy period, and even then it never felt crowded or chaotic.
The rooms themselves are well thought out – nothing groundbreaking, but everything works the way it should. Good water pressure (seriously important), decent Wi-Fi, and the kind of blackout curtains that actually block light. I noticed they pay attention to little details too, like having enough outlets near the bed and bathroom lighting that’s bright enough to actually see yourself in the mirror. The housekeeping is solid – fresh towels, properly made beds, none of that rushed feeling you sometimes get.
Honestly, the 9.1 rating makes total sense once you spend a night or two here. It’s not trying to be the flashiest place around, but it nails the fundamentals while adding enough personality to feel special. The kind of place where you’d feel comfortable bringing your parents but also wouldn’t bore you to death if you were traveling solo or with friends. I found myself actually relaxing here, which doesn’t always happen at hotels – sometimes you’re just counting down until checkout, you know?

What Our Guests Say
The rooms were very spacious and clean. The vicinity is great. The whole group has a nice time, except slight trouble taking the belongings to the 4th floor over the stairs.
What could be improved: It would have been better served the breakfast on a huge group booking. Have to remind multiple times to refill and few items could not be refilled saying they ran out. We expect a faster service along with no items finishing off. There was a little disappointment in the group.
Breakfast was nice. Good choice of items and coffee
What could be improved: Toilet ceilings were leaking
Coming from Budva you can either go up the hill (mountain) and turn right where the abandoned Budva waterpark is, it is about 100 meters past the basketball court. Or you follow the main road out of Budva and past the restaurant on the right you will see a road going up the hill (mountain) on the right side, meaning you will come from the other side towards the property. Even though they do not have a restaurant they have a local deal with a food delivery service till 8pm and the portions are quite generous.
What could be improved: The roads in general are not well lit when in darkness so best is to get acquainted with the surroundings if you're not comfortable driving in darkness.
Nice place with nice swimming pool and perfectly located to visit Budva and the sorroundings. It is located 10 min by car from the city centre.
The bedrooms are very comfortable with a small kitchenette. You can also park your car there!
What could be improved: All perfect.
Great location near the main coastal road. Good breakfast on the terrace surrounded by mountains. A chance to order food delivery from some other restaurant in case you are hungry when you arrive (e.g. late evening).
What could be improved: The staff could improve and share more precise information about staying / give more clear basic introduction. We only figured out in the morning that breakfast in served by staff and shouldn’t be ordered from the menu we were given when we arrive.
Very nice and convenient
Liked everything, the location is great, the kids enjoyed everything. The pool was opened, the stuff was friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed. And we were given more towels and a new kettle when we asked. The view there is breath taking. We would happily return. Also a nice breakfast can be ordered if needed.
The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The pool was a great way to cool down after a hot day in town.
What could be improved: Distance from town but ended up being a quick taxi ride.
Amazing staff who are super friendly and always happy to help. Spotless room. Lovely view.
What could be improved: Nothing
The view from the balcony was perfect. Swimming towards the mountains were great experience. The staff was helpful and nice. Owner was helpful also. We booked 1 night but we loved to place and decided to stay 2 nights. Thank you!
