Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Romantic Hillside Escape” I rolled my eyes a little at the cheesy name, but this place actually lives up to it. Perched up on the hills above Budva, it’s one of those spots where you pull up and immediately think “okay, this is why people fall in love with Montenegro.” The infinity pool situation is legit – I mean, you’re literally swimming toward the Adriatic horizon, and on clear mornings you can see all the way to the mountains across the bay.

The location on Komosevina is perfect if you know the area. You’re far enough from the madness of Budva’s Old Town (honestly, it gets pretty wild down there in summer) but close enough that a quick taxi ride gets you to Slovenska Plaža or those beach clubs everyone talks about. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets up here at night – you can actually hear the waves, which is rare when you’re staying anywhere near the coast during peak season. The rooms have this authentic Mediterranean thing going on without feeling overdone, and the sea views from the terrace… well, let’s just say I spent way too much time out there with my morning coffee instead of exploring.

Here’s what really sold me though – the staff actually knows the area. When I asked about hiking trails, the guy at reception didn’t just hand me a generic brochure. He drew me a little map to this viewpoint above Sveti Stefan that most tourists never find, and told me exactly when to go to avoid the heat. That’s the kind of local knowledge you can’t fake. Sure, it’s technically a 3-star place, but honestly? The setting and that infinity pool make it feel like something much more expensive. Just know that you’ll want a car or be prepared to Uber if you’re planning to bounce between beaches – but trust me, once you’re up there watching the sunset paint the whole coastline gold, you might not want to leave anyway.

  Basen praktycznie na wyłączność z cudownym widokiem na morze i Budvę. Lokalizacja idealna na wypad pieszo do miasta i na plażę Mogren oraz samochodem do plaży Jaz (duża i spokojna plaża z drobnymi kamyczkami, prawie jak piasek) lub Ploce (plaża z basenami ze słoną wodą i imprezami) czy do Kotoru omijając całkowicie miejskie korki w Budvie. Parking tuż przy wejściu. Czysto i ładnie.
  
  What could be improved: Stromy i wąski podjazd z kilkoma ostrymi zakrętami wymagający wprawy, ale po kilku dniach dało się przyzwyczaić. No cóż… w górach tak to wygląda 🙂
