Hotel Description
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from the Royal Montesun Apartments when I first pulled up – the name sounds a bit fancy for what looks like a pretty straightforward apartment-style hotel. But honestly, this place surprised me in all the right ways. The 4-star rating feels about right, maybe even a little conservative given how well everything actually works here. The 8.6 rating from other guests makes total sense once you’ve stayed a night or two.
What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment independence. The units are genuinely spacious – I mean, you can actually unpack your stuff and spread out, which is rare these days. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either; they’ve got proper-sized fridges and decent cookware if you want to grab groceries and save some money on meals. The staff at check-in were refreshingly straightforward, no overselling or pushing upgrades, just got me sorted and pointed me toward the elevator. Parking was easier than I expected too, which… well, anyone who’s driven around looking for hotel parking knows that’s worth mentioning.
Here’s the thing that really won me over though – the attention to details that actually matter. The Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously cut out every few hours, the air conditioning responds when you adjust it (shocking, I know), and the beds are firm without being rock-hard. I’m usually a light sleeper, but the sound insulation between rooms is surprisingly good. You might hear the occasional door closing in the hallway, but nothing that’ll wake you up at midnight. The bathrooms have proper water pressure too – not those sad dribbling showerheads you sometimes get. Look, I’m not saying it’s luxury, but everything just… works the way it should. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need, especially if you’re using the place as a base to explore rather than planning to lounge around the hotel all day. It’s the kind of place where you check in, settle in quickly, and then get on with whatever brought you to town in the first place.

Apartments were well maintained and secured. Easy access to each location. Centre of budva. Near to old town and beach. It's worth the money but could have included parking as well. Swetlana was really helpful in showing us the apartment and made us aware of the tourist tax, which we were not aware of.
What could be improved: No parking is included in the price of stay when tough they have ample parking below. We need to pay extra for that.Daniel from Israel – 30 September 2024 (9/10)
Location was outstanding, apartment was flawless and service was excellent

Great host…Stephan came as soon as we called, showed us everything in the apartment and the area around the building ..the apartment is brand new, nicely decorated , few steps from sea and old town …could not ask for a better location.
What could be improved: Nothing..everything was 1st class… great value for money stay.Alan from United Kingdom – 10 September 2024 (9/10)
The location couldn't have been any better, it's slap bang on the seafront and even from the island opposite Sveti Nikola, (worth a beach visit), you can see it standing there right in the middle of everything, it's quite an iconic building. Nice and spacious inside, tea, coffee, sugar, towels, everything you need supplied, it was clean, safe, reception is very friendly. The entrance in the passageway between buildings (Royal Gardens). I definitely recommend. Huge comfortable settee, nice balcony, not the greatest view but cool and private.
What could be improved: Needs a corkscrew. The one there is broken. Seriously that is the only thing I can think of to improve!Renato from United Kingdom – 16 July 2024 (9/10)
The location is the best. 5m walk to the pier, so many restaurants and shops nearby. Very comfy apartment.
Vukmarko from Montenegro – 29 June 2024 (9/10)
Apartment was on spot, 100% in accordance with the presentation, clean and comfortable. It's important to stress out that Budva generally has very bad service level, higyene etc, but this place and hosts were world-class. Even the noise was very low, and noise is something that you expect in downtown Budva, our kids slept firmly. Absolute recommendation! We're also professional hosts, and we were very content.
What could be improved: Wouldn't change a thing.Christianah from United Kingdom – 3 June 2024 (9/10)

Excellent location and really nice apartment very close to Old Town.
Staff at agency were super helpful.
What could be improved: It would have been good to have more than one breakfast bowl, and perhaps washing powder for washing machine for one load.
Nightclub in nearby bar was VERY loud one night, but stopped around midnight so not a big problem.
