You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Saly 70 studio when I first walked up – the name’s a bit cryptic and honestly, three stars usually means you’re rolling the dice. But this little place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s got this understated charm that grows on you, and by the time I checked out, I was already thinking about coming back.

The studio setup is pretty clever, actually. They’ve maximized every inch without making it feel cramped, which is harder to pull off than you’d think. The whole vibe is clean and modern but not sterile – there’s character in the details, like the way they’ve done the lighting and the little touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. I mean, there are enough outlets in the right places, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the shower has decent water pressure. These things matter when you’re road-weary, you know? The 8.1 rating makes total sense once you settle in – it’s one of those places that just works without any drama.

What really won me over was how the staff handled things. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises about fees or policies, and when I had a question about getting around the area, they actually gave me useful local advice instead of just pointing to a tourist map. The neighborhood itself has this authentic feel – you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble, but you’re also not wandering around wondering if you picked the right area. I noticed locals going about their daily routines, which always feels like a good sign to me. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which honestly can make or break a place depending on when you arrive. The noise level was perfectly reasonable – enough street life to feel connected to the city, but not so much that you’re lying awake wondering why cars need to honk at 2 AM. I’d definitely recommend this spot if you want something reliable without the corporate hotel feel, especially if you appreciate places that focus more on getting the fundamentals right than on flashy amenities you’ll never use.

  the apartment is 10-15 min walk from Old town, there is a coffee shop Oliva 3 min walk.
  the apartment itself is very nice and cozy, has all the things you might need – for cooking, washing etc
  wifi signal is good.
  the hosts are very friendly and responsive and they let us stay with our dog.
  
  overall, highly recommend!
  
  What could be improved: one burner on the stove almost doesn’t work, another one is okay, so you can’t cook 2 things at the same time
