You know what struck me first about this place? It’s literally called “Sea view apartment” and – honestly, thank god – it actually delivers on that promise. I’ve been burned too many times by places that claim ocean views when you’re basically squinting through a tiny window between two buildings. But from this spot in Becici, you’re getting the real deal with those Adriatic blues stretching out in front of you.

The thing about Becici is that it’s sort of the sweet spot between Budva’s party chaos and complete middle-of-nowhere quiet. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk from all the Budva madness if you want it, but when you come back to this apartment, there’s actually space to breathe. The beach right here is honestly better than Budva’s main stretch – less crowded, cleaner, and the water’s that ridiculous turquoise color that makes your Instagram followers hate you. I mean, we’re talking about Montenegro’s coast here, which is basically the Mediterranean’s best-kept secret anyway.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, you know? Not that sterile hotel room vibe where everything’s bolted down and painted beige. The 3-star rating might sound modest, but honestly, star ratings in this part of the Balkans work differently – this place punches way above its weight. That 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there. The kitchen’s actually functional (rare in vacation rentals), there’s decent WiFi, and the air conditioning works – which, trust me, you’ll appreciate in July and August when half of Serbia descends on the coast.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Becici doesn’t have that thumping club scene right on top of you like central Budva does, so you can actually sleep with the windows open and just hear the waves. During the day though, there’s enough happening – little beach bars, that decent restaurant everyone calls “kod Marka” even though I’m pretty sure that’s not its real name, and a small market where you can grab essentials without hiking into town. Parking’s not a nightmare either, which anyone who’s driven the coastal road in summer will tell you is basically a miracle.

The whole setup works especially well if you’re planning to explore beyond just beach time. Sveti Stefan is right there – you can walk to the famous postcard viewpoint in maybe 20 minutes along the coast. And honestly, the local bus situation to places like Kotor or even Dubrovnik across the border isn’t terrible from here. Though fair warning – summer traffic on that coastal road can be absolutely brutal, so factor that in if you’re planning day trips.

To book a hotel in Budva during peak Mediterranean season, travelers need early planning as this coastal gem draws visitors eager to experience its pristine beaches and historic old town.

  It is quite close to the beach with nice view. Apartment is generally as shown in pictures with good AC.
  
  What could be improved: At first, I asked if there is a parking for the apartment and the deal was that it is included. Couple of days prior to arrival they notified me that I had to move to another apartment which was the same but without parking.
  And host didn’t report our stay to the authorities so we almost had to pay fine up to 100€ per person on the border.

  Dôvod, vyhovarali sa na majitela apartmánu že prišiel neohlasene a nás musia ubytovať inde.
  Bez akéhokoľvek upozornenia že sa nám mení apartmán!!

  What could be improved: При вселении не было туалетной бумаги, мыла, квартира грязная, была вообще не убрана, запущена настолько, что песок под ногами и что более противно везде волосы. Сантехника грязная, не прикручен кран. Кровать в пятнах, диван весь в грязи, его вообще ни разу не чистили. Кровать и диван жутко не удобные, самые дешевые, как у деда на даче ) Постельного белья для ребенка не было, у нас отсутствовал пододеяльник. К чайнику притрагиваться было страшно, весь в накипи. Варочную панель видно не разу не мыли. Было просто отвратительно находиться в такой ужастной квартире и мы убирались два раза, чтоб было не противно там находиться и все равно отовсюду лезла пыль. Посуда вся в немытом состоянии, вся жирная. Постельное бельё самое дешевое как в самом дешевом хостеле. На второй день пришла уборщица и сказала, что вы ругаетесь полы же чистые, конечно чистые, жена у меня их 2 раза помыла. Фото прилагаю. Видно что квартира в хорошем дорогом доме, техника дорогая, но за квартирой не следят, не ремонтируют, лейка душа самый дешевый Китай, льётся во все стороны.
