What I really appreciated was the parking situation – they’ve got a spot for you, which is basically gold in Budva during summer. I mean, trying to park near the old town in peak season is like a contact sport. The location puts you walking distance from Slovenska Plaza if you want the organized beach scene, but you can also easily get to some of the quieter spots along the coast if you prefer less chaos. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel too; there’s a little bakery around the corner where locals grab their morning burek, and you’ll actually hear Montenegrin being spoken more than English or Russian, which gives you a better sense of the real place. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no bureaucratic nonsense, just friendly people who seem to genuinely care that you have a good stay. It’s the kind of place that makes you understand why people fall in love with this stretch of the Adriatic and start planning their return trip before they’ve even left.
