But honestly, this spot completely surprised me in the best way possible. The building itself has this laid-back, almost residential feel that immediately puts you at ease, nothing fancy or intimidating about it. What struck me right away was how quiet it actually gets here, especially considering you’re still close enough to walk to Budva’s old town without breaking a sweat.

The apartments themselves are where this place really shines – and I think this is why it’s sitting at that crazy 9.7 rating. Each unit feels like someone actually lives there (in a good way), not like those sterile hotel rooms where everything’s bolted down and smells like industrial cleaning products. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, which is huge if you’re like me and get tired of restaurant food after a few days. I actually ended up cooking breakfast most mornings and just sitting on the balcony watching the town wake up. The wifi works well enough for video calls, though it does slow down a bit in the evenings when everyone’s streaming – just so you know. Parking can be a little tricky during peak summer months, but the staff (who are genuinely helpful, not just going through the motions) will point you toward some spots that locals use just a short walk away.

What I really love about staying here is that you get this perfect balance – you’re not stuck in some resort bubble, but you’re also not thrown into complete chaos either. The neighborhood has that authentic Montenegrin vibe where you’ll hear actual conversations in Serbian drifting from nearby cafés, and there’s this little bakery about two blocks down that does these incredible burek pastries early in the morning. The beach is maybe a 10-minute stroll, and while it gets crowded during the day, early mornings and late afternoons are absolutely perfect for a swim. I mean, you can literally hear the waves from some of the apartments when the wind’s right. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevator can be a bit temperamental – nothing major, just takes its time sometimes. But honestly, for what you’re paying and the experience you get, especially with how welcoming and knowledgeable the staff are about local spots, Seabreeze apartments feels like one of those hidden gems that somehow hasn’t been completely discovered yet. It’s the kind of place where you actually feel like you’re experiencing Budva rather than just visiting it.
