Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Seaside Rest Apartments – the name sounds pretty generic, you know? But here’s the thing about this place: it’s got that comfortable, lived-in feeling that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax instead of worrying about whether you’re fancy enough for the lobby.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious, which I mean, after staying in those cramped hotel rooms that barely fit a suitcase, was such a relief. You get a proper kitchen (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), and the living areas have these big windows that let in tons of natural light. The furniture’s nothing special – sort of that universal apartment complex style – but everything’s clean and actually functional. I loved having a real dining table where I could spread out my laptop or eat breakfast without balancing a plate on my knees. The beds are decent too, though the pillows are a bit soft for my taste (but hey, that’s what packing your own is for, right?). What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – you’d think being near the water there’d be more traffic or noise, but the soundproofing is actually pretty solid.

The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s place than staying at a hotel, if that makes sense. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering staff or pressure to upgrade to premium whatever. You get your keys, maybe chat for a minute about where to find the good coffee nearby, and that’s it. Parking’s included, which honestly saved me from the headache of feeding meters or hunting for spots every few hours. The location puts you close enough to walk to the waterfront when you want that ocean breeze, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tourists and street performers. I found this little bakery about three blocks over that locals actually go to – the kind of place where they remember your order by day three. There’s also a grocery store within easy walking distance, which turned out to be clutch since having a kitchen meant I could grab fresh ingredients instead of eating out every single meal. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with marble bathrooms or concierge service, but sometimes you just want a comfortable base where you can come and go as you please without feeling like you need to perform “hotel guest” all the time. That 8.7 rating? Yeah, I get it – it’s the kind of place that does the basics really well without any unnecessary fuss.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Budva at least two months ahead for major events like Sea Dance Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near the beach.

  A hospitable host. The apartment is very clean. New house, fresh renovation. Comfortable bed and sofa. A quiet courtyard. Near the sea, shops, shopping center.We had a good rest.Coffee, tea, shampoos, gels, everything is there, which is very convenient. There is a washing machine, but no washing powder was found. In October, the price was pleasant, and there was a beautiful balcony with mountain views. Everything was perfect! I advise you!
