I mean, you’re right on Vukice Mitrovic street, which puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to the action but not drowning in the summer madness that hits the old town.

The apartment itself is pretty solid for what you’re paying – it’s got that practical three-star vibe without trying to be something it’s not. You know what I appreciated? The actual view (shocking, I know) and the fact that the place feels lived-in rather than sterile. The kitchen’s functional if you want to grab groceries from the Maxi market down the street instead of eating out every meal, and honestly, with how expensive restaurant prices have gotten in Budva’s center, that’s not a bad call. The Wi-Fi actually works, which – trust me – isn’t something to take for granted in Montenegro. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle during peak season, but there’s usually something within a reasonable walk.

What really works about this spot is the location context that most visitors don’t immediately grasp. You’re positioned where locals actually live and work, so you’ll hear real Montenegrin life happening around you – kids playing football in the courtyard, neighbors chatting over coffee, that sort of authentic backdrop. It’s maybe a 10-minute walk to Slovenska Plaza (the main beach stretch), and you can cut through some residential streets that give you a genuine feel for how this coastal town operates beyond the tourist facade. The building itself shows its age in places – I wouldn’t call it Instagram-perfect – but everything functions properly and the maintenance is decent. Check-in was straightforward, no drama, which after dealing with some of the more chaotic accommodations in the Balkans, felt refreshingly normal. During July and August it gets pretty lively in the evenings (Montenegro doesn’t really do quiet summer nights), but by October things mellow out considerably if you prefer a calmer experience.

  What could be improved: It’s in need of some renovation. Cupboards and draws in the kitchen are broken and chairs are falling apart. Needs a refresh. Hold in bathroom floor.

  The accommodation is very nice and the same as in the photos. With a nice and covered terrace. The beach is 5 minutes down the stairs. I would definitely recommend the accommodation.

  Výhľad na more, blízkosť plaže, veľmi pekný apartmán aj prijmne sedenie a terase.
  
  What could be improved: Nebolo k dispozícii mydlo v kúpeľni, plieseň na tesnení okolo vane, nemožnosť zatemnit okno počas noci, špina pod kávovarom. To sú veci, ktoré sa dajú jednoducho vyriešiť, inak nás apartmán hneď pri vstupe ohuril ako pekne vyzerá.

  What could be improved: V kuchyni bohužel chyběl odpadkový koš,pro 4 osoby byly pouze 2 vidličky a 3 snídaňové talířky.Na terase byla umístěna 10 litrová nádoba,kam odkapávala voda z klimatizací z vyšších pater a neustále bylo slyšet odkapávání vody a to bylo velmi rušivé.Jinak bylo vše výborné a tyto věci by šli snadno odstranit.
