Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be straight with you about Sekulovic Apartments – it’s one of those places that completely caught me off guard in the best possible way. When I first pulled up, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot, but sometimes ratings don’t tell the whole story, you know? The building itself has this understated charm that grows on you, and after staying there twice now, I get why it’s pulling a 9.4 rating.
What really sets this place apart is how the Sekulovic family (I’m assuming they’re the owners) has managed to create something that feels more like staying at your well-traveled aunt’s place than a typical hotel. The apartments – and they really are proper apartments, not just rooms with a mini-fridge – have this lived-in quality that’s actually comforting. I mean, the kitchen in my unit had real cookware, not those flimsy pans you usually find in hotel kitchenettes. The beds are surprisingly good too, which matters more than people think when you’re dealing with jet lag or just need a proper night’s sleep after walking around all day.
Honestly, the whole experience feels refreshingly unpretentious. Check-in was this casual conversation rather than a formal hotel desk interaction, and they actually remembered my name when I came back the second time – little touches like that stick with you. The cleaning staff does their thing without being intrusive, and I noticed they pay attention to details most places skip, like actually replacing the coffee supplies and making sure the WiFi password hasn’t mysteriously stopped working. Parking was never an issue either, which saved me the headache of circling blocks looking for a spot. The neighborhood itself has this quiet residential feel during the day, but you can hear it come alive in the evenings without being obnoxiously loud – that sweet spot where you feel connected to the local rhythm without losing sleep over it. What I appreciated most was how they struck this balance between giving you space to do your own thing while still being genuinely helpful when you needed something. It’s the kind of place where you end up extending your stay if you can swing it, and trust me, that 9.4 rating makes a lot more sense once you’ve been there.
To book hotel in Budva during the famous summer festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts beach enthusiasts and nightlife lovers from around the world.

Urska from Slovenia – 27 April 2025 (10/10)
The apartment is beautiful, new and spacious enough. I liked the sitting area in the bedroom the most, two chairs and a small table. Just right for evening browsing on the phone or for morning coffee. The lady who welcomed us (mother) was very friendly. We walked to the old part of the city, it's not far at all. A small grocery store is just around the corner, a minute and you have everything you need. There is a driveway for parking the car right next to the apartment, which is also great. We only stayed one night, we didn't miss anything, everything was fine.

The apartment is newly renovated and clean. There is a designated parking, and everything was nearby. Irena and Danka are great hosts.

This was the first time I traveled alone and was worried how everything will turn out. The hosts were always available to answer and questions or concerns. The apartment is near shops, coffee places, street food shops etc (not even a 5min walk). The apartment was newly furnished, modern, and clean.

Чисто, недалеко от старого города. Вокруг много магазинов, кафе и ресторанов.
What could be improved: Wi-Fi никакой, не то что работать, не возможно просто что-то посмотреть. Полотенца застиранные и по размеру маленькие. Постельное белье, как полотенца)) и от разных комплектов.
