You know what caught me off guard about Shine Residence? The name makes it sound like some flashy corporate place, but honestly, it’s got this understated charm that grows on you. I mean, it’s definitely a solid 4-star spot – the kind where everything works like it should and the staff actually remembers your name after day two, but it doesn’t try too hard to impress you with marble everything and over-the-top lobby displays.

The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully comfortable. Nothing revolutionary, but the beds are properly firm (thank god), and they’ve got these blackout curtains that actually block light – you’d be surprised how many hotels mess that up. The bathrooms are spotless with decent water pressure, though the shower doors are a bit finicky if you’re not gentle with them. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing; I stayed there during what seemed like a busy period and barely heard my neighbors, which is pretty rare these days. The AC runs quietly too, none of that rattling nonsense that keeps you up all night. Storage space is generous – I could actually unpack everything without playing Tetris with my suitcase.

The service hits that sweet spot between attentive and not hovering over you constantly. Check-in was smooth, maybe ten minutes tops, and the front desk staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions. I had a weird issue with my room key on the second day (totally random), and they sorted it out immediately without making me feel like an inconvenience. The housekeeping team does their thing efficiently – fresh towels, restocked coffee pods, and they don’t move your stuff around, which drives me crazy at some places. With a 7.9 rating, you’re looking at a hotel that consistently delivers without any major hiccups, but maybe doesn’t have those little luxury touches that bump places into the 8.5+ territory. That said, for the price point – and I’m assuming it’s reasonable given the overall vibe – you’re getting solid value. It’s the kind of place where you sleep well, take a good shower, and start your day without any irritations, which honestly is all I want most of the time when I’m traveling.

Hotels near me in Budva offer convenient access to the beach promenade, where guests can easily walk to ancient city walls, marina, and vibrant nightlife venues.

  The apartment's location was really amazing. We took lots of pictures on the balcony. And the guy who came to give the keys to us was so smiley and kind and he suggested us a luxury restaurant which is in the hotel Aleksandar. We have eaten amazing dishes the meat with truffles was the best. So thanks for everything maybe we can come again.

  It is a great location with a wonderful view. Easy access to the beach and to nearby stores.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately in one of the bedrooms there was someone's clothes, specificly man's underwear in the closet and drowers, which was a little bit awkward and hard to unpack and put our clothes in it.

  Modern apartment with a fantastic view. Comfortable beds. Very quiet. Good wifi. Great location near the beach and easy 30 minute walk into Budva. Also a bus stop just a few minutes away to go into Budva for just €1.50

  No reception so make sure you let your host know what time you are arriving. Luckily the cleaner saw me go outside so came and helped us.
  
  Could do with a broom and dustpan and brush so you can keep the apartment clean. We could also have done with a microwave and toaster but we know these items are not listed so just a suggestion.

  Overall, experience was great. The owner communicated promptly; he helped a lot when we needed an extra parking space. The view was amazing. We had a guest, and the owner was very kind to help us with that too, urgently cleaning and renting another apartment. Huge kudos to the owner. The property itself was nice too, view is amazing, pretty clean. Felt safe. Everything is close enough to walk. Family friendly.
  
  What could be improved: I would make it possible to pay for the property using credit card, even with the processing fee, this could be valuable/convenient. I'd improve the washer since it was a bit old, but I guess for sustainability reasons let's use it as long as possible lol

  Spacious, modern apartment with excellent view both to the see and to the mountains. Great value for money. Perfect location just few meters from the beach. Excellent staff.
