Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first saw the name “So rooms city centre,” I thought it was some kind of translation mishap or maybe a placeholder that never got updated. But you know what? After staying there, the straightforward name actually makes sense because that’s exactly what this place delivers: solid rooms right in the heart of the city, no frills about it.
The location is honestly the star here – you’re literally walking distance from everything that matters, and I mean everything. Those morning coffee runs don’t require planning an expedition, and when you’re stumbling back after dinner and a few drinks, you’re not dealing with confusing taxi directions or expensive rides. The building itself has that slightly worn European charm that three-star places in city centers tend to have – not Instagram-perfect, but real and lived-in. The lobby’s pretty small, actually, but check-in was surprisingly smooth when I arrived around 3 PM on a Thursday. The staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions, which honestly caught me off guard given how many city center hotels just phone it in.
Here’s the thing about the rooms – they’re not trying to be something they’re not. Clean sheets, decent shower pressure (thank god), and windows that actually open if you prefer fresh air over constant AC. The walls are a bit thin, I won’t lie, so if you’re a light sleeper, pack some earplugs. But the street noise dies down pretty significantly after 10 PM, at least on weekdays. I was surprised by how much natural light the room got, even though we’re talking about a dense city center location. The WiFi actually worked consistently too, which seems like a low bar but you’d be amazed how many places mess that up. Storage space is adequate – I mean, you can unpack properly instead of living out of a suitcase for your entire stay, which is more than I can say for some pricier options I’ve tried. The bathroom’s compact but functional, and honestly, the water got hot fast and stayed hot, which is all I really care about after a long day walking around.
What really won me over was how the place just works without any drama. No hidden fees popping up, no aggressive upselling at the front desk, no broken promises about amenities. It’s refreshingly straightforward in a way that feels almost old-school these days. The 8.6 rating makes total sense once you stay there – it’s not trying to be a luxury experience, but it nails the basics so well that you end up impressed despite modest expectations. If you’re the type who spends most of your time exploring the city anyway and just needs a reliable base camp that won’t drain your budget, this place gets it right.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Budva at least two months ahead for major events like Sea Dance Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near the beach.

Location! The owner is nice too. Could be better is there’s a window curtain.
What could be improved: No elevator and no washing machine.Ihsan from Turkey – 5 September 2024 (9/10)
Close to the beach and old town, also close to transportation

It is close to both old town and autobuska. Its place is ideal if you stay in Budva and travel around Montenegro by bus. The owner is so helpful.

I loved everything. The room, the bed and the bathroom, everything was clean and perfect. The air conditioner, wifi, clean towels, culinary stuff were all great. The staff is really helpful. They do their best. I appreciate.
What could be improved: There was nothing.Ceren from Austria – 24 July 2024 (8/10)
The host is such an amazing lovely person. I fell ill with food poisoning during my stay and he looked after me and brought me medication. Also the location and cleanliness of the accommodation are great.
What could be improved: Unfortunately it is very noisy as it is on a main road.Halidedinc from Turkey – 13 August 2024 (8/10)
The location was fine, 10 mins walk away from old town. Room, bed sheets, towels were clean. When we needed smth, the owner helped us. He was very kind and friendly.
What could be improved: I recommend that he should put bathroom accessories like shampoo, body lotion etc. Also if you put smth drink like Coffee or tea next to kettle, that d be perfect. And the place is really central, this is why you will hear too much traffic noise, but if you close the window, it will prevent the noise.Guglielmo from United Kingdom – 28 August 2024 (6/10)
Location was good. Owner was friendly. Modern bathroom although everything gets wet when a shower is taken.
What could be improved: Air conditioning is loud and the noise of the running motor is constant and annoyingДмитрий from Russia – 4 October 2024 (9/10)
Lucian from Romania – 3 September 2024 (9/10)
Colaborarea co proprietarul, a fost un tip super ok cu foarte mult bun simt si foarte bine ne-am inteles.
Si locatia a fost foartee buna si aproape de plaja.
What could be improved: Putin zgomot noaptea deoarece era chiar in centrul unei intersesctii unde era mai mult trafic
