This three-star guesthouse sits right in the heart of Budva, and I mean really in the heart of things. You can literally hear the buzz of the old town from your window, but it’s not so close that you’re dealing with constant noise. The building itself has that Mediterranean charm without being overly polished, which actually works in its favor.

Location Magic

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re maybe a three-minute walk to Budva’s old town walls, but you’re also close enough to the main beach that you can pop back to your room between swimming sessions. The street it’s on connects you to everything without putting you right in the tourist chaos. I’ve stayed in places that claim great locations, but this one actually delivers. You know those mornings when you want coffee but don’t want to trek across town? There’s a local café literally around the corner that the guesthouse owner recommended, and it became my daily ritual.

Jana, the owner, actually lives nearby and genuinely cares about her guests’ experience. She gave me insider tips about which beaches to hit when (apparently the locals avoid certain spots during peak hours), and even helped me figure out the bus schedule to Kotor. The whole place feels more like staying with a knowledgeable local friend than checking into an anonymous hotel. There’s also this little communal area where you can sit with coffee in the morning — nothing fancy, but it’s where I met other travelers and got some great restaurant recommendations.

Look, couples especially seem to gravitate toward this place, and I get why. It’s intimate without being cramped, central without being chaotic.
