Hotel Description
Honestly, when I first pulled up to this place in Rozino, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside – it’s just a regular apartment building about ten minutes from Budva’s old town. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are hiding in plain sight. This two-bedroom setup turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I was looking for.
The apartment itself is genuinely spacious, which is saying something in Montenegro where “cozy” usually means you’re bumping elbows with your travel partner. Both bedrooms actually fit real beds (not those cramped European doubles that barely work for one person), and having two full bathrooms means nobody’s waiting around in the morning. The living area flows nicely into a kitchen that’s actually functional – I mean, you can cook real meals here if you want to save some dinars instead of eating out every night. The balcony faces away from the main road, so you get this surprisingly peaceful view of the residential area instead of traffic noise. There’s something nice about seeing how locals actually live, laundry hanging between buildings and all.
Location-wise, it’s sort of perfect for people who want to be near everything without being in the thick of tourist chaos. The beach is maybe a seven-minute walk – not the crowded stretch right by the old town, but the part where you can actually find a spot for your towel in July. TQ Plaza (that’s the mall everyone mentions) is literally around the corner, which comes in handy for groceries or when you realize you forgot sunscreen… again. What I really appreciated was being able to walk to Budva’s main attractions but coming home to a quiet neighborhood where you can actually sleep at night. During peak season, the old town gets pretty rowdy until the early morning hours, so this distance is actually a blessing. The local bus stop is right there if you want to explore further up the coast toward Kotor or down to Bar – just wave down the driver, they’re pretty casual about stops. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in Montenegrin coastal towns will tell you is no small thing. The whole Rozino area has this lived-in feel that I found more interesting than staying right in the tourist bubble. You’ll hear neighbors chatting in the evening, smell someone’s dinner cooking – it feels authentic in a way that hotel corridors never do.
