You know what caught me off guard about Square Inn? The name makes it sound like some basic chain hotel, but honestly – this place is operating on a completely different level. I mean, with a 9.8 rating, I had high expectations, but walking into that lobby actually made me do a double-take. There’s this perfect balance of upscale without being stuffy, if that makes sense. The kind of place where you feel immediately welcome whether you’re rolling up in jeans or coming from a business dinner.

The staff here – and I’m not just saying this – they actually remember your name after the first interaction. Not in that forced, hospitality-school way, but genuinely. I watched the front desk guy help this family figure out the best route to avoid traffic during rush hour, pulling out his phone to show them side streets that locals use. That’s the kind of insider knowledge you just don’t get at most places. The rooms themselves are what really sealed the deal for me though. Everything feels intentional, from the lighting (finally, a hotel that understands you need actual good light to get ready) to the way they’ve positioned the furniture so you’re not constantly bumping into corners. The beds are phenomenal – I’m talking sleep-until-checkout-time phenomenal. And here’s a small thing that mattered more than I expected: the walls are actually soundproof. I never once heard footsteps from upstairs or conversations from next door, which is honestly rare these days.

What I keep coming back to is how this place manages to feel both polished and comfortable. It’s got that four-star quality without any of the pretentious nonsense that sometimes comes with it. The housekeeping is meticulous (they somehow make hospital corners look effortless), and there’s always someone around to help without hovering. I actually ended up extending my stay an extra night, which I never do – but something about Square Inn just made me want to slow down and actually enjoy being there instead of treating it like just a place to crash. If you’re looking for somewhere that delivers on the details while still feeling like a place real people would want to hang out, this is it.

  Location is perfect! It is very close to the old city and the downtown area. Plenty of cafes, shops and activities near the location.
  The apartment is in the new building and is in great condition.
  Hosts are very responsive and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The closet didn’t have much free space, not enough free shelves. The closet itself is big, but has a lot of cleaning products and blankets/pillows inside. Can still be enough space if you don’t have a lot of clothes with you.

  It's a beautiful apartment! Location 10/10, close to the old town, beach. The apartment was so clean, all the linen and towels smelled clean! The hostess is super, she will always help. If you are going to rest in Budva, do not consider another option. It's the best! 💯💯💯

  Host met us to pay tourist tax. Comfortable, spacious, neat with nice view. All kitchen facilities, fast wi-fi, there also was detergent in bathroom.

  Квартира нам понравилась она была большая, просторная, чистая. В ней могут разместится 4 человека, поскольку есть две большие кровати. На кухне есть вся необходимая посуда. За время пребывания мы не разу не пользовались кондиционером поскольку сам дом прохладный. Апартаменты находятся в 5 минутах ходьбы от базарчика и большого супермаркета.
  
  What could be improved: На кухне хотелось бы иметь сухие салфетки, их не хватало – но это было не критично.
