Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Studio Apartments 6 Palmi on Topliški put – I mean, the street name alone had me fumbling with Google Translate. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are tucked away where you’d least expect them, and this little gem in Budva totally proves that point.
The thing about this place is that it gets the basics so right, you almost forget you’re staying in what’s technically a 3-star property. The studios are actually spacious (and I’m not just saying that because I’ve been crammed into shoebox hotel rooms before), with these surprisingly well-equipped kitchenettes that make you feel like, well, you could actually live here for a while. The owner – super friendly guy, speaks decent English – walked me through everything during check-in, including how to work the air conditioning properly, which honestly saved my life during those sweltering July nights. There’s this great little balcony situation going on too, where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch Budva wake up without dealing with the tourist crowds that pile into the Old Town later.
What really sold me on the place, though, was the location itself. See, Topliški put runs parallel to some of the main drags, but it’s just removed enough that you’re not hearing scooters revving at 2 AM (trust me on this – stay closer to the center and you’ll understand). You’re maybe a 10-minute walk to Slovenska Beach, which gets busy but never feels completely overrun like some of the other spots along the coast. And here’s something the booking sites don’t tell you – there’s this fantastic little bakery about three blocks down that opens at 6 AM and makes these incredible burek pastries. The apartment’s kitchen means you can grab fresh bread and actually enjoy breakfast without paying hotel restaurant prices.
Parking was surprisingly painless too, which anyone who’s driven around the Balkans in summer will appreciate. There’s street parking right outside, and while it fills up during peak season, I never had to circle around for more than five minutes to find a spot. The neighborhood itself has this lived-in feel – you’ll see locals heading to work, kids playing in the small park nearby, that sort of authentic slice of life you miss when you’re stuck in the tourist bubble. Sure, the building exterior isn’t going to win any architecture awards, but inside everything’s clean and well-maintained, with decent Wi-Fi and surprisingly good water pressure in the shower.
I mean, look – if you’re expecting marble lobbies and 24-hour room service, this isn’t your place. But if you want a comfortable base to explore Montenegro’s coast without breaking the bank, Studio Apartments 6 Palmi delivers exactly what it promises. The 9/10 rating makes total sense once you’re there. It’s one of those places where everything just works, the price is fair, and you end up extending your stay because, honestly, why complicate things when you’ve found something good?

Great location, very clean and comfortable! This had everything we needed for our 1 night in Budva. Walking distance to bus station and to the old town where there is also a nice beach. We were able to check in early which was perfect for us as we arrived in the morning.

Perfect apartments for those who wants to spend a time with family and would like to have opportinities to make some dishes by itself. I can only strongly recommend these apartments: housekeeping was every day on high level, housewife was very pleasant and ready to help anytime and ready to advice in the case of any needings. Apartment fulfilled our expectations, everything was clean and tidy. So, fully satisfied.
Exceptional – Aleksandr from Russia – December 31, 2024 (10/10)
The best option for apartments in its price category in Budva. Spotless house with a well-kept yard. The apartment has all the household equipment – everything is in excellent condition. The embankment and the center of city life are 10 minutes away. Good-natured, responsive hostess
Loved the parking – Dhrmc from Netherlands – October 27, 2024 (9/10)
Parking was very nice, because it was needed. Good location, great view. Room was spacious. Hostess friendly and a good guard 🙂
What could be improved: Communication little bit difficult, and I would have liked an holder for the shower. Showering was now not easy. Street little noisy but that makes sense in a city. Loved Budva!
