The family running the place actually knows the area inside and out, and they’re happy to share recommendations that go beyond the typical tourist spots. They pointed me toward a local restaurant down the road that serves incredible seafood — the kind of place where fishermen eat, not just tourists with guidebooks. The surrounding area has this authentic Montenegrin feel that’s getting harder to find along the coast. You’ll see locals walking their dogs in the evening, kids playing in small courtyards, and elderly folks chatting on benches — it’s real life, not a resort bubble.
