You know what? Sun Guest House is one of those places that sneaks up on you. From the outside, it honestly doesn’t look like much – just another three-star spot that you might scroll past online. But I’m telling you, there’s something really solid about this place that makes it punch way above its weight class.

The first thing that hit me when I walked in was how quiet everything felt, which is actually pretty rare these days. The lobby has this lived-in comfort to it – not fancy, but someone clearly gives a damn about keeping things nice. The check-in was smooth, no weird surprises about fees or anything, and the guy at the front desk actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give me decent restaurant recommendations (not just the tourist traps, either). My room was… well, it was exactly what you’d want from a solid three-star place. Clean sheets that smelled like actual detergent, not that weird hotel chemical smell. The bathroom was small but functional, good water pressure – honestly, that’s half the battle right there. The AC worked without sounding like a jet engine, which meant I could actually sleep with it on during the warmer months.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on Sun Guest House though – it’s the kind of place where they’ve figured out all the little details that matter when you’re traveling. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, not just in the lobby. There’s always hot coffee available in the morning, and I mean always – I’m an early riser and it was ready by 6 AM. The housekeeping staff doesn’t bang around in the hallways at dawn, which shows they understand that people are trying to sleep. Parking was straightforward too, none of that circling-the-block nonsense you get at a lot of city places. I mean, look at that 8.8 rating – that doesn’t happen by accident for a three-star property. That tells you other travelers are consistently having good experiences here, not just getting by but actually enjoying their stay. It’s the kind of rating that comes from doing the basics really well, day after day. The staff seems to stick around, which usually means decent management and a place that treats people right. You can tell when a hotel has high turnover – nothing works quite right, nobody knows where anything is, that sort of thing. This place felt stable, like they’ve got their systems down. Honestly, if you’re looking for somewhere reliable without paying resort prices, Sun Guest House delivers exactly what it promises, maybe a little more.

  The owner was so nice person. She met me right on patio at front door. She very cared about my tired legs and gave me some support. I loved to be there. There was clean and cozy place, and quiet. Definitely I recommend this mini hotel to everyone.

  The owners are very friendly and helpful.
  The location is close enough to supermarkets, bakery etc, it’s around 15 min walk to the beach and 30 mins to the old town.
  
  What could be improved: The property is quite old and perhaps could do with a decoration update, but it’s kind of part of the charm 🙂

  Host was a very nice. Not sure if the gentleman with her was her partner but he was a very helpful person as well, always smiling, made me and my son feel at home .
  Host was constantly checking on me and my son to be sure we knew places to go and facilities met our expectations.

  Area right in the city so good connections to so many places with easy commute
  Also has a lovely beach Azuro beach closeby which is just like 6 mins walk away
  Property is in a very lovely area where you can easily get good street food, restaurants and refreshments

  Yes. Location is near (about 3 streets) the beaches.

  The location of this guest house is very comfortable. Everything we needed we could reach by walking 10-15 min. It has lots of shops near by and restaurants as well. The owner is very kind and helpful.
