Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “Sunbreeze Delux Vilas,” I was expecting some sort of generic resort situation. You know what I mean, those places with flashy names that promise more than they deliver. But actually visiting changed my mind completely, and that 9.1 rating suddenly made perfect sense.

The moment you walk into the property, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually cared about the details here. I mean, sure, it’s a 4-star place so your expectations are already set, but these folks seem to understand what that rating should actually mean. The villas themselves – and yes, they’re proper villas, not just hotel rooms with fancy names – have this perfect balance of being upscale without feeling stuffy. Each one feels like its own little retreat, which honestly surprised me because so many places just divide up space without thinking about privacy. The soundproofing is genuinely impressive too; I barely heard my neighbors, even during what seemed like a pretty busy period.

What really gets me is how they’ve handled the common areas. There’s this natural flow between indoor and outdoor spaces that just works – you’ll find yourself drifting from the lobby out to these tucked-away seating areas without really planning it. The pool situation is particularly well done; it’s not massive, but it never felt crowded, and the way they’ve positioned the loungers means you’re not staring directly at other people. Small thing, but it matters. The staff genuinely seem to know what they’re doing, and I got the impression they actually enjoy working there, which makes such a difference in how everything feels. Check-in was smooth (they had our villa ready early, which was clutch), and throughout the stay, people were helpful without being hovering-around-you helpful, if you know what I mean.

I should mention – and this might matter depending on what you’re looking for – that this isn’t a party place. It’s got more of a sophisticated, adults-focused vibe. Perfect if you want to actually relax and recharge, maybe not ideal if you’re hoping for a social scene. The dining situation exceeded my expectations too; breakfast especially was this nice mix of local options and the standards you’d expect, all done well rather than just being there to check boxes. Even little touches like having decent coffee available in the villa and actually comfortable robes made it clear they’re thinking about the experience holistically.

Honestly, places like this remind me why ratings and reviews matter – this is what a well-run 4-star property should feel like. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, just doing everything it promises really, really well. If you’re the type who appreciates when details are handled properly and wants to feel like you’re staying somewhere special without the pretension, this is definitely worth considering.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Budva at least two months ahead for major events like Sea Dance Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near the beach.

  The villa is well equipped, clean and spacious. In the kitchen you can find all the stuff, even the drip coffee maker. You have to prepare for climbing the winding road because this building is located on a high hill. But because of that, you have an awesome view of Adriatic Sea and Saint Stefan Island. We really enjoyed our stay!

  We hired two villas for our stay. We could not fault them, they had everything we needed and more for our girls weekend, both villas were clean and had all the facilities that we needed for our stay. Both pools were beautiful and the view from the villas overlooking the coast line was beautiful. We would definitely book again. Thank you Sergey for being a great host.

  This villa was an absolute dream!
  Sergey who looks after it was extremely helpful and friendly. On the ground floor there is a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi with an outdoor pool. Air conditioning kept us cool in 30 degree heat. You will definitely need a car to stay here as there is a steep hill from the coast to reach the villa. But you are rewarded with fabulous views!

  Beautiful views, very well appointed, spacious. Wonderful host, helpful, and sorted issues quickly. Great pool and well located, although it was a long drive uphill to the property, it was worth it for the views over the bay.
  
  What could be improved: Hot water tank didn’t hold enough to allow for a family to shower. Maybe 1 1/2 showers at a time before the water went cold, so we had to stagger this as we were a family of 4. Beds were hard and quite uncomfortable if you sleep on your side. The clothes airer was completely broken on the balcony.

  House was beautiful with amazing view. This is the place to be, if you want luxury and your own space. You can spend the whole day here by the pool side. Sauna was great and using it really cleans you up.
