You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Vila Amfora – I mean, it’s tucked away in this residential area that most tourists probably drive right past. But honestly, that turned out to be exactly what made Sunčani apartman 1 so perfect. The whole complex has this laid-back Mediterranean vibe that feels more like staying at a friend’s family place than some sterile hotel chain.

The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious – and I actually mean that, not in the “cozy” way travel sites usually lie about tiny rooms. There’s real counter space in the kitchen (thank god, because good luck finding decent coffee nearby before 8am), and the balcony catches this amazing morning light that makes you want to just sit there with your coffee way longer than you planned. The owners clearly put thought into the little things too – like actually comfortable pillows, which honestly shouldn’t be remarkable but somehow always is. The whole place feels lived-in in the best way possible, sort of like they decorated it for themselves rather than trying to please every possible guest.

What really sold me though was how quiet it gets at night. You’re close enough to walk to the main area when you want action, but far enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 2am (been there, hated that). The family running the place – they’re genuinely helpful without being hovery, if you know what I mean. They’ll point you toward this little bakery about ten minutes away that does these incredible pastries, or tell you which beach has fewer crowds on weekends, but they’re not constantly checking if you need anything. Parking was actually easy too, which around here can be… well, let’s just say I’ve circled blocks for thirty minutes before. The only thing I’d mention is that the wifi can get a bit spotty during peak hours – not a dealbreaker, but if you’re planning to work remotely, maybe have a backup plan. Still, for a 3-star place, this feels more like what 4-star places promise but don’t deliver. That 9.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days and realized you’re genuinely relaxed instead of just Instagram-relaxed.

  Apartman se nalazi na izuzetnoj lokaciji. U blizini je nekoliko marketa, pekara i do plaze se precicama stize za svega 5 minuta.
  Apartman ima izuzetno udobnu i konfornu terasu koja pruza sjajan uzitak kako tokom dana tako i tokom veceri. Ljubaznost i predusetljivost domacima izuzetna. Sigurna baza za smestaj kada nekom drugom prilikom budemo boravili u Budvi i topla preporuka poznanicima i prijateljima.

  A házigazda nagyon kedves volt, várt a megbeszélt időpontban a szállás előtt. A szoba alapvetően rendben volt, tiszta, légkondícionált. Ár-érték arány kedvező.

  – A szálláshoz nincs parkolóhely, az utcán kell keresni, de nagyon nehéz találni.
  – A Wifi nagyon rossz, szinte használhatatlan.
