You know what? I almost walked right past Sunny Apartment the first time I was looking for it – honestly, the name doesn’t do it justice and without a proper address listed anywhere, I was basically playing detective with my phone GPS. But once I found it, I’m actually glad I stuck with my reservation because this little 3-star spot turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises you remember long after you’ve unpacked at home.

The thing about this place is that it feels more like staying at a friend’s well-kept apartment than some sterile hotel room. The moment you walk in, there’s this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – I mean, the furniture actually matches, the kitchen isn’t just for show (they stock real coffee, not those sad little packets), and someone clearly thought about lighting because you’re not squinting in harsh fluorescents or fumbling around in cave-like darkness. The bed situation is solid too – firm enough that you won’t wake up feeling like you wrestled with it all night, and the linens are the kind that make you want to hit snooze one more time. I noticed they’ve got blackout curtains that actually work, which saved me during those early morning hours when the neighborhood starts coming alive.

What really won me over, though, was the attention to those little details that most places completely miss. The shower has proper water pressure – and I cannot stress enough how rare that is – plus they’ve got enough towels so you’re not rationing them like you’re camping. The Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner (tested it thoroughly while video-calling from the kitchen), and there’s enough counter space to spread out your stuff without playing Tetris with your toiletries. The whole place stays surprisingly quiet too, even though you can tell the neighborhood has some life to it during the day. I was there during what seemed like a busy period and never had those paper-thin-walls moments where you know way too much about your neighbors. Parking was straightforward – no circling the block for twenty minutes or dealing with confusing permit situations. Check-in was refreshingly human; someone actually answered when I called with questions instead of routing me through an automated maze. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but sometimes what you want is a place that just works really well without any drama, and that’s exactly what you get here.

  The location was very close to beach, clubs, restaurants, you literally had everything within 2mins of walk,
  the owner of the apartment was very kind and friendly, and if you needed anything he was reachable at any time.
  
  What could be improved: there might be a little too much noise if that bothers you from the traffic

  Lokacija odlična, centar grada, vlasnik nam je obazbijedio besplatno parking mjesto, stan je prostran sa svim potrebnim stvarima: nova veš mašina, nov šporet, nov frižider sa zamrzivačem, sav potreban kuhinjski pribor,… kreveti udobni, veliki balkon sa dobrim pogledom, odličan internet i kablovska TV. Domaćini ljubazni i susretljivi. Sigurno ćemo doći opet.
