Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “Sunraf Luxe Apartments,” I was expecting some cookie-cutter place trying too hard to sound fancy. But you know what? Sometimes these places surprise you, and this one actually delivers on most of what it promises.

The apartment-style setup is really where this place shines. I mean, having a proper kitchenette changes everything when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. You’re not stuck eating hotel breakfast every morning or dropping fifty bucks on room service that arrives lukewarm. The units I’ve seen are genuinely spacious – not that fake “luxury” where they cram a king bed into what’s basically a closet. The living areas actually feel like, well, living areas, and the bedrooms are separate enough that if you’re traveling with family or friends, people aren’t stepping over each other constantly. The décor leans modern without being cold, though honestly, some units feel more updated than others depending on which floor you end up on.

What really sold me on this place was the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere temporarily. The WiFi doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the microwave (you’d be amazed how often that happens). The air conditioning is quiet enough that you can actually sleep, and the blackout curtains – thank god – actually block light. Check-in was surprisingly smooth, none of that “your room isn’t ready yet” nonsense at 4 PM. The front desk staff seems to know their stuff too, not just reading from a script when you ask about local spots. They pointed me toward this little coffee place that I never would’ve found otherwise, tucked away where only people who actually live in the area would know about it.

The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s definitely a step up from your standard extended stay places, but it’s not trying to compete with those ultra-high-end hotels where you pay extra for marble everything. That 8.0 guest rating makes sense too. Most people seem genuinely happy with their stays, though I did overhear someone complaining about street noise on the lower floors facing what I think is the main road. If you’re sensitive to that kind of thing, definitely ask for something higher up or facing the back when you book. Parking was easier than I expected for this kind of property – there’s actually dedicated spaces, not some nightmare situation where you’re circling blocks at midnight hoping to find street parking.

The whole setup works especially well if you’re in town for business for a week or two, or doing one of those family trips where hotels start feeling cramped after day three. You get that apartment flexibility without having to deal with sketchy short-term rental situations or landlords who ghost you when the hot water stops working. It’s sort of the sweet spot between hotel convenience and actual living space, and honestly, once you get used to having a real fridge and counter space, it’s hard to go back to regular hotel rooms.

  The apt is just perfect
  
  What could be improved: Accessorize and toaletica are missing.
  One toilet paper for a family isn't enough, the same for the dish washer and laundry machine.
  I prefer paying 10 extra euros and not going to buy a new package of toilet paper. That's not a luxury behavior.
  Rather than that, the apt and the staff are awesome

  The staff was amazing, super welcoming. I appriciated sauna and pool facility at the site.
  The location is amazing, we used the hotel as a "base" and travel by car over all the Montenegro.
  The property had everything we need for a couple weeks stay, i.e.: washing machine, dish washer, cuttlery etc etc, even a hoover!

  we booked 3 room apartment but they did good by us and gave us two two bedroom for the same price due to work commitment on the 3 bedrooms but they Told us it would be on the top floor and they were not that was the only thing I was not happy with as the views are so much better from higher and we had the lowest views which were blocked by trees, and the were not together on the same floor but that didn't happen so make sure you have it in writing and stick by it or walk away
  
  What could be improved: just that they didn't do as we asked once there everything else was very good apart from the Wi-Fi, didn't work half the time on our floors

  Beautiful views over the beach and Adriatic sea. Located right on the traffic free promenade. Close to numerous restaurants and a local supermarket.
  The apartment we had (2-bedroom) was very large, modern equipment and quiet.
  It is about 4 km from the center of Budva
  
  What could be improved: It is an apartment hotel so no real on-site facilities. The pool is very basic (but looking at other hotels, I think this is average for the area).

  The apartment was spacious and in a convenient location. Several restaurants and a small market close by. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
  
  What could be improved: When we arrived, we had a difficult time to find the parking. Do not use the address of the building, it takes you to a small road that dead ends beside the building. . I would recommend to call for directions in advance.
  
  No cleaning service during the stay.

  Location was perfect. It was beachfront, near supermarket, restaurants… There were private parking lots.Staff were very friendly, smiley, willing to help. Rooms were clean. We stayed one week which was not enough 🙂
  
  What could be improved: Just we had a problem with the elevator first and last day so we carried our luggage by ourselves but of course staff helped us.
