You know what struck me first about Sunrise Budva? It’s one of those places where the name actually makes sense – I mean, you really do get these incredible sunrise views that honestly make waking up early worth it for once. The hotel sits in this perfect spot where you can watch the sun come up over the Adriatic, and I’m not usually the type to get sentimental about sunrises, but this one got me.

The thing about Budva is that it can get absolutely crazy during peak season – I’m talking shoulder-to-shoulder crowds on the main beaches and restaurants that take forever to seat you. But staying at Sunrise kind of insulates you from all that chaos while keeping you close enough to dive into it when you want to. The staff here actually know what they’re doing (which sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how rare that is), and check-in was refreshingly smooth. No standing around for twenty minutes while they figure out their system. The rooms are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star – clean, comfortable, with that particular Balkan attention to detail that I’ve grown to appreciate. The air conditioning actually works properly, which matters more than you think when you’re dealing with those humid Mediterranean summers.

What really sets this place apart though is how it feels like they understand travelers rather than just tourists, if that makes sense. The breakfast setup isn’t some overwhelming buffet where half the food sits there getting cold – it’s thoughtfully curated, and they do this local cheese selection that’s honestly better than what you’ll find at most restaurants in town. Plus, you can grab coffee and pastries pretty much any time, which saved me more than once when I was rushing out to catch an early bus to Kotor. The pool area gets busy around midday (everyone has the same idea about beating the heat), but if you’re there by 8 AM or after 4 PM, it’s this peaceful spot where you can actually hear yourself think. Parking was straightforward too – none of that driving in circles hoping to find a spot situation you get with some hotels in the old town area. The location means you’re walking distance to the good stuff without being right in the middle of the late-night party zone, so you can actually sleep when you want to. That 9.9 rating isn’t just inflated review scores – this place genuinely delivers on making your stay feel effortless in a way that lets you focus on enjoying Budva instead of dealing with hotel drama.

  The apartment is great, it's clean as everything you need and the lady that meets us was so helpful , we needed to bed and sofa bed and everything was done for us before we got there ,it's just up from the main street , you can get there by steps or a road , I would stay here again.

  This was an excellent stay. The owner, Dragana, is very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean, and everything has been taken care of. As far as we stayed for three weeks, Dragana offered us free cleaning in the middle of our stay! I especially liked the Wi-Fi quality that was better than we have in Prague 🙂 I highly recommend this place. The only thing worth considering is elevation changes: the apartment is on the hill, and there is a short way to the Old Town by using stairs, or a longer way downhill.

  An absolutely amazing apartment. Very clean and modern. The kitchen is fully equipped, you can find even some basic food. Generally there are all the necessary equipments. A very comfortable bed in the bedroom.
  The location exceeded our expectations. Very close to the old town but it was quiet. It was possible to have a rest without any problem. Beautiful sea view from the nice balcony. If only there was an opportunity, we would be happy to go back there.

  Öncelikle her şey ama her şey en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülmüştü. Evimiz gibi samimi hissettiğimiz bir yerdi. Merkeze çok yakındı yürüme mesafesi 3 dakikaydı. Manzarası muhteşemdi. Resimlerde gördüğümüzden daha büyük bir ev ve resimlerdekinin aynısıydı. Asla başka yere bakmayın ben çok baktım en iyisi gerçekten bu. Her geldiğimizde burda kalmaya karar verdik. İçerisi modern ve her şey tertemizdi. Çok ama çok teşekkür ederiz her şey için 🙏🙏
