You know what hit me first about Sveti Stefan Beach Apartment? The view from that fifth floor – I mean, you’re literally looking out at one of Montenegro’s most photographed spots, and it doesn’t get old. The apartment sits right on Sumet bb (which is basically the main drag through Sveti Stefan), so you’re walking distance from everything that matters without being stuck in the chaos of Budva proper.

The place itself feels like someone’s well-loved vacation home rather than a sterile hotel room. The owners clearly know what travelers actually need – decent wifi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, a kitchen where you can make proper coffee in the morning, and honestly, blackout curtains that work (you’ll thank me for mentioning this when the summer sun starts blazing at 5:30 AM). The building’s got that Mediterranean apartment vibe where your neighbors might be making dinner at midnight, but it’s never obnoxiously loud. I actually found the gentle hum of evening conversations kind of charming – makes you feel like you’re living in the neighborhood, not just visiting it.

What really sets this spot apart is the location intelligence, if that makes sense. You’re close enough to walk to the famous Sveti Stefan island causeway in about three minutes, but far enough up the hill that you avoid the tour bus crowds during peak hours. The beach access is ridiculously easy – just head down toward the water and you’ve got options. There’s the main beach everyone photographs, but locals will tell you (and now I’m telling you) that if you walk a bit further along the coast, you’ll find quieter spots with the same incredible water. The apartment’s position also means you can actually get decent parking, which – trust me on this – becomes a real headache closer to the waterfront, especially during July and August when half of Europe seems to descend on this stretch of coast.

The 9.3 rating honestly makes sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not trying to be fancy in that over-the-top resort way, but everything just works. The shower has good pressure, the AC keeps up with summer heat, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. Plus, the hosts are responsive without being hovering – they’ll point you toward the good restaurants (skip the touristy places right on the water, head inland a block or two) and actually know the bus schedules if you want to explore Budva or Kotor for a day. I’d definitely stay here again, particularly if you want that perfect balance of being in the heart of things but still having a proper place to decompress after long beach days.

  What could be improved: The GPS coordinates on the location of the apartment led us to the wrong location, so they need to be slightly adjusted. It led us to a property about a block higher than actual location.

  The beach is breathtaking in its beauty and can be seen from every balcony and window.
  Sveti Stefan is the most beautiful beach in the Budva area, and nearby are small coves that resemble paradise.
  The apartment itself is very spacious, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, towels and cosy linens, and clean.
  A fully equipped kitchen for cooking, but no basic ingredients at all.
  
  What could be improved: The building in general and the apartment in particular are not maintained; there is a lot of potential, but renovation and renewal are required.
  The design and furniture are quite simple, inexpensive, and lack uniqueness.

  Очень и очень красивый вид из окна, идеально подойдет для семьи. На кухне много посуды, есть чайник. Два балкона с видом на море. Есть лифт, который опускается сразу на 1 этаж к пляжу. Имеется 1 место парковочное. Все постели чистые, уборные и душевые тоже. Все понравилось, кроме отношения хозяйки.
  
  What could be improved: Хозяйка, которая выдавала нам ключи, хотела взять с нас полную стоимость с туристическим налогом (1 евро за ночь на 1 человека), а платить при этом не собиралась. Только когда я уточнила точно ли она оплатит налоги туристические, она сказала, что она этим не занимается (хотя это ее обязанность, ведь все отели и апартаменты на букинге уже включают в свою стоимость все налоги). После того, как она вернула нам сумму за налог, отправила нас в турист.бюро, куда платить налоги, и НЕ ПРЕДУПРЕДИЛА, что оно работает до 17:00, а мы заехали только к 19:00. Я не думаю, что человек, который работает с туристами уже столько времени, не знал график работы турист.бюро.

  Великі апартаменти із 4 спальнями. На кухні є всі кухонні предмети та техніка. Вид з тераси такий як на фото, дуже красиво. Господиня дозволила на годину раніше заселятися. Однозначно рекомендую 🙂
