You know what caught me off guard about Talia Apartments? It’s not actually in Budva proper – it’s tucked away in Lastva Grbaljska, which honestly turned out to be one of those happy accidents that makes a trip memorable. I mean, when you first see the address, you might think you’re getting shortchanged on location, but this little village sits just above the main tourist chaos, and you get these incredible views of the bay that the downtown hotels charge twice as much for.

The apartments themselves are exactly what you’d expect from a solid 3-star place – nothing fancy, but everything works and it’s genuinely clean. The owners clearly know what travelers actually need because there’s proper air conditioning (crucial during those sweltering July afternoons), decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and kitchenettes that are actually functional, not just for show. I appreciated the little touches too – good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and surprisingly comfortable beds. The whole setup feels more like staying at someone’s well-maintained vacation home than a sterile hotel room. Parking was never an issue, which… if you’ve tried to find a spot in central Budva during peak season, you’ll understand why that’s basically priceless.

What really sold me on the place was how quiet it gets at night – you’re far enough from the beach party scene that you can actually sleep, but close enough that a quick 10-minute drive gets you to Slovenska Beach or the Old Town walls. The bus connections are decent too, though I’d honestly recommend renting a car if you want to explore properly. The local konoba down the hill serves some of the best grilled fish I had in Montenegro (and way cheaper than the tourist traps), and there’s a small market within walking distance for basics. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. Perfect for couples or families who want a comfortable base without paying resort prices, especially if you’re planning to spend your days out exploring rather than lounging by a pool.

  The apartment is a true gem! Clean, spacious and fully equipped, very close to the main road (walking distance) and supermarket. It has a very nice veranda overlooking a grass field where children enjoy playing and views to the mountains are stunning and refreshing. The apartment is a perfect stay especially for families. Most importantly, hosts are amazing. Their warm welcome, their hospitality and kindness were truly valuable for us. Bilyana and Gordana thank you for everything!

  The only thing good was that the apartment was clean.
  
  What could be improved: First of all you are not in Budva but in a village called Lastva!!!. Budva is 4-6km far and you have to go with a car. When we arrived we were looking the apartment for 2 hours, no name of the apartment anywhere not even on the house we didn't know what to look cause there aren't pictures from outside.
  
  When we finally arrived the host wasn't very welcoming we were a bit nervous cause we couldn't find the place and instantly the host said you can go to some other place i do not want you here.. She started calling her "accountant" to try to cancel the booking although she knew that if we cancel the booking the app booking will take all of the money from my card! But since we told here we couldn't cancel the booking and we are staying there cause we can't find other because we traveled for 12 hours and we are tired she said ok. The payment had to be in cash, the host doesn't have payment with credit card and does not give you any fiscal check as proof that you were there. You can't have privacy and stay on the balcony at night because it's a shared balcony.
  
  Across the yard there are 2 large black dogs of the neighbors which are not on a leash so the host said don't be afraid they will not harm you… we went there with 3 little kids we had to keep an eye on them constantly… Oh yes, every night and morning you go to bed and wake up with hearing sounds of cows, rosters etc…
  
  When we left the host didn't came to say goodbye and take the key although she is in the same house even though she saw the messages on viber and i called her couple of times…. we left the key at the door and after 3 hours she sent a message that she was sleeping and didn't heard the phone.
  
  Not satisfied at all, the price then was extremely expensive for a stay in a rural area… village and definitely not Budva as it is said above that it is…

  Ev sahibi bizi karşıladı ve ev dışındaki isteklerimizle de çok güzel ilgilendi. Kendisine teşekkür ediyoruz. Evin konumu şehir dışında. Önünde Otoparkı mevcut. Evin olanakları anlatıldığı gibi ama daha da geliştireceğini düşünüyorum. Fiyat fayda oranı mükemmel.
  
  What could be improved: Duş kabini olmaması. Ütü olmaması. Yastık ve çarşaf sayısı kişi sayısına göre yetersiz. Ama yeni bir işletme olduğunu düşünüyorum, geliştirilebilir.

  What could be improved: yatak altlarındaki tozlar. ocak üzerindeki düğmeler saat yönünün tersineydi. yemek yapmak için ocağı kullandığımda en yüksekte sandığım kısım meğer en düşükteydi. üzerine yazılara belirtilse çok iyi olur.

  房子在郊区，房东比较安静话不多，但是人很好，在我们抵达之前就把客厅空调开开了，一进去就可以感受到凉爽，房子空间挺大，干净整洁，超棒！😘
