You know what surprised me most about Tehnoplus apartment? It’s actually tucked away on Žrtava Fašizma street, which means you’re close enough to hear the Old Town buzz but far enough that you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 3 AM. I mean, Budva can get pretty wild during summer nights, so this location is honestly a sweet spot.

The place has this unpretentious vibe that I really appreciated – it’s a 3-star setup but feels more like staying at a friend’s well-maintained apartment than some sterile hotel room. The owners clearly know what travelers actually need because there are all these thoughtful touches you don’t expect. Decent WiFi (tested it for work calls), a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the Franca market down the hill, and – this might sound weird but hear me out – really good water pressure in the shower. After spending days on Budva’s beaches, that hot shower hits different.

What I loved is how easy it is to slip into the local rhythm from here. You’re maybe a 10-minute walk from Slovenska Plaža, which gets crazy crowded, but honestly the locals know to hit the smaller beaches early morning anyway. The apartment gives you that flexibility to come and go without dealing with hotel breakfast schedules or key card nonsense. Plus, there’s actual parking nearby, which – if you’ve ever tried to drive in Old Town Budva during peak season – you’ll understand is basically gold. The whole experience just felt… I don’t know, more authentic? Like you’re living in Budva for a few days instead of just passing through as a tourist. Sometimes the best places are the ones that don’t try too hard, and Tehnoplus gets that balance right.
