You know what? The Rising Sun completely caught me off guard. I mean, when you’re driving up through Seoce – which is this quiet little village area just outside Budva’s main chaos – you’re not really expecting much from a 3-star place. But honestly, this spot gets it so right that I’m almost annoyed at how good it is for the price.

The thing about staying here is that you’re actually living like a local for a few days. Prijevor isn’t some tourist trap neighborhood – it’s where people from Budva go when they want to escape the summer madness down by the old town. You’ll hear roosters in the morning (which sounds awful but is oddly charming), and there’s this authentic Montenegro thing happening where your biggest decision is whether to walk down to the coast or just lounge around the property. The family running the place – and it definitely feels family-run – seem to genuinely care about making sure you’re sorted. Check-in was this relaxed conversation rather than some formal hotel routine, and they actually remembered my name throughout the stay, which rarely happens anymore.

What really sold me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between being comfortable and not trying too hard. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully put together without any of that generic hotel furniture that looks like it came from the same catalog as every other place. You get proper mountain views from most rooms, and in the evenings when the light hits those hills behind Budva, well – you’ll understand why they called it The Rising Sun. Parking is right there (which anyone who’s driven around Budva in July will appreciate), and the location means you can actually get in and out without sitting in traffic for an hour. It’s maybe a 10-minute drive down to the beaches, but honestly, after a day dealing with the crowds at Mogren or Slovenska Plaza, coming back up to this peaceful little pocket feels like therapy. The 9.5 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be fancy, it’s just trying to be really, really good at being exactly what it is.

  Sto se tice stana stan je veoma velik i sasvim dovoljan i udoban za 5 osoba.
  
  What could be improved: U stanu je sve bilo super ocuvano i vrhunski sredjeno i čisto. Lokacija smjestaja je nekih 15 minuta udaljena od plaze i smjestana je u brdo.

  The apartament was nice, same as in the pictures. The host was also nice and helpful. We had everything we needed in the apartment and more. There is a supermarket nearby and restaurants. I would recommend going with a car if you are staying there.
  
  What could be improved: In the small bathroom, the fan wasn't cleaned so it made a lot of noise and also the shower was not working. There were no insect protection nets at the windows / balcony doors.

  Przede wszystkim duży zadbany apartament , wyposażony we wszystko co istotne do kilkudniowego pobytu , 2 łazienki,2 balkony z pięknym widokiem na morze i Korfu , sympatyczna i pomocna właścicielka , dostalismy nawet po pieknym magnezie 😊 parking pod budunkiem , świetna plaza Yaz z przejrzystą wodą 3 km autem , bezpłatny duży przy niej parking , lub schodząc do drogi głównej zejście bezpośrednio na plażę Plaza jest zarazem intensywnie oblegana w jej głównym miejscu ale jak ktoś potrzebuje wyciszenia to z 200 m dalej jest idealnie beż tłoku .Szczerze polecam ten apartament i gdybym miała być kiedyś w Budvie to tam szukałabym noclegu 😊

  What could be improved: Belépéskor azonnal a kezemben maradt a kilincs. Csap is billeg össze vissza. Egyik zuhanyzóban szivárog a víz. Ajtófélfa le van szakadva. Egy napos karbantartással ezeket rendbe lehetne hozni. Mindezek ellenére nagyon tetszett

  Boravak u ovom smeštaju je bio izvanredan! Sve je bilo čisto, uredno i baš onako kako je prikazano na slikama. Domaćini su bili izuzetno ljubazni i gostoljubivi, spremni da pomognu u svakom trenutku. Lokacija je odlična – mirna, a opet blizu svega što je potrebno. Krevet je bio udoban, a smeštaj opremljen svime što je potrebno za prijatan boravak. Topla preporuka svima koji žele kvalitetan i opuštajući odmor!

  Osoblje je bilo prijatno i ljubazno, lokacija je mirna, za odmor je savršeno, pogled je na more i daleko od gužve i buke. Nije puno daleko od centra.

  Liniște, apartament imens, locatie buna, loc de parcare in garaj, in fiecare camera aparat de aer condiționat, internet de calitate, aproape de cea mai mare si frumoasa plaja – Yaz, faci aproximativ 5 minute cu mașina, apartament dotat si utilat cu aproape tot ce ai nevoie.
