Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Top27 on Topliški Put, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But honestly? This little spot completely surprised me. The location is actually pretty brilliant if you know Budva at all. You’re tucked away from the chaos of the Old Town (which, trust me, gets absolutely mental in July and August), but it’s still close enough that you can walk to Slovenska Beach in about ten minutes. The street itself is quiet – I mean, you’ll hear some traffic during the day, but nothing that’ll keep you up at night like those places right on the main drag.

What really got me was how the staff just… gets it, you know? Check-in was smooth, no weird bureaucratic nonsense, and they actually gave me useful tips about avoiding the tourist traps. The rooms are clean and comfortable – not fancy, but everything works properly, which is honestly more than I can say for some 4-star places I’ve stayed at along the coast. The AC actually cools the room (revolutionary, I know), and the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes. Small things, but they matter when you’re trying to work or just want to chill after a day exploring Kotor or dealing with the summer crowds at Jaz Beach.

You know what I really appreciated? The vibe is just relaxed. No pretentious lobby music, no staff hovering around trying to upsell you on spa treatments. It feels like a place where actual travelers stay, not just Instagram influencers looking for photo ops. I met some interesting people in the common areas – a couple from Germany who’d been coming to Montenegro for years, some backpackers who were using Budva as a base for hiking in Lovćen National Park. The breakfast is solid too – nothing fancy, but proper coffee and fresh bread, which is all I really need to get going in the morning. Plus, there’s decent parking, which anyone who’s driven around the Budva Riviera will tell you is worth its weight in gold. If you’re looking for a genuine, unpretentious base to explore this part of Montenegro without breaking the bank or dealing with resort nonsense, Top27 is actually a really smart choice.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Budva at least two months ahead for major events like Sea Dance Festival, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near the beach.

  Apartamentul este nou, dat in folosinta anul acesta și este situat la 15 minute de mers pe jos pana la plaja, Apartamentul arata exact ca in poze. Atunci cand te intorci din oras (plajă) pentru a ajunge la apartament trebuie sa urci o panta de aproximativ 300 de metri, ceea ce pentru unele persoane ar putea fi dificil daca nu vrei sa mergi cu masina la plaja. In zona se poate gasi loc de parcare in loc neamenajat (in zona respectiva sunt putine locuri de parcare amenajate iar din acest motiv se parchează pe marginea străzii sau chiar pe spatiu verde, inclusiv loclnicii parcheaza la fel). Apartamentul este spatios, este mobilat și utilat cu tot ceea ce ai nevoie, inclusiv masina de spalat rufe. Gazdele sunt foarte prietenoase si dispuse sa te ajute cu tot ceea ce ai nevoie.

  Очень чистые и современные апартаменты. Есть все, включая духовку и посудомойку.
  Есть вся посуда для приготовления и сервировки.
  Супергостеприимные хозяева (придержали нам место на парковке).
  
  What could be improved: Не знаю можно ли это считать минусом, это вкусовщина, конечно. Но месторасположение апартаментов на холме, поэтому подниматься в гору пешком по жаре проблематично. Но при всем этом, неспешным шагом до старого города идти 30 минут. И за счёт того, что апартаменты находятся вдали от основных дорог-очень тихо и спокойно.
