You know what caught me off guard about Tophill Altezza Premium? The name makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – and I mean that in the best possible way. Sure, it’s technically a 3-star place, but honestly, whoever’s running this spot clearly cares more about the experience than checking boxes for star ratings.

The first thing you’ll notice (and probably Instagram) is that pool situation they mention in the name. It’s not huge, but it’s positioned perfectly to catch the afternoon light, and the view from up there is genuinely spectacular. I spent way too much time just floating around at sunset, watching the city spread out below. The deck chairs are actually comfortable too – you know how hotel pool furniture usually feels like it was designed by someone who’s never sat down? Not here. There’s this relaxed vibe where you’ll find yourself chatting with other guests, which doesn’t happen everywhere. The staff keeps the area clean without being intrusive about it, and they’re pretty good about keeping the towel situation sorted.

What really won me over though was all the little stuff they get right. Check-in was smooth – no weird upselling or making you wait around while they “prepare your room.” The front desk folks actually seem to know the area well, which is rarer than it should be. When I asked about good local spots for dinner, I got real recommendations, not just the tourist traps. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, nothing revolutionary but everything works properly. Air conditioning actually cools the room, shower has decent pressure, WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes – basic stuff that plenty of places somehow mess up. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night.

Parking’s easy, which matters more than you’d think, and the location puts you close enough to interesting neighborhoods without being right in the middle of all the chaos. I could walk to some great local restaurants and bars, but still get a decent night’s sleep. The soundproofing is pretty solid – I mean, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it’s not like trying to sleep next to a construction site. That 9.6 rating starts making sense when you realize how many small details they’ve actually thought through. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on what it promises, and the staff seems genuinely happy to have you there. For the price point, you’re getting way more than you’d expect, especially with that view and pool access. I’d definitely stay here again.

  These are modern clean apartments, which are well equipped for a comfortable stay. Great views over Fort Mogren and the beach from the large balcony. Our host Maria was always on hand to assist with any queries during our visit. The apartment has use of a nice quiet pool but we didn't use it often as we prefer the beach. The road to the apartment is very steep, but when you get used to it, it makes the drive to the apartment more interesting!!

  Komfortowy apartament usytuowany na wzgórzu z przepięknym widokiem. Do dyspozycji gości basen, leżaki, grill. W budynku winda. Apartament dobrze wyposażony, wygodne łóżka, duży stolik na tarasie gdzie mogliśmy jeść śniadania. W łazience pralka i duży prysznic. Możliwość zaparkowania samochodu w garażu, parking przed budynkiem. Opiekunka apartamentu Maria bardzo zaangażowana, w czasie podróży do Czarnogóry była z nami w kontakcie, jak również w trakcie pobytu.
  
  What could be improved: Plusem i zarazem minusem jest usytuowanie budynku na wzgórzu. Na plus przepiękny widok, na minus bardzo stromy podjazd co spowodowało, że wszędzie dojeżdżaliśmy samochodem. Do poprawy mozaiki w basenie – syn skaleczył się, ponieważ niektóre były odklejone. Do wyprania maty ochronne na materac, co uważam, że powinno być zrobione po każdym wynajmie apartamentu. Do czystości pozostałych elementów apartamentu nie mam zastrzeżeń.

  Lägenheten var verkligen jättefin. Rent och fräscht, mycket välstädad. Stor balkong med bra utemöbler. Utsikten var fantastisk.
  Poolen och pool-området var också jättefint. Tyst och lugnt runt omkring.
  Värden var engagerad och hjälpsam.
  
  Perfekt med eget garage, där fanns även parasoll som vi lånade med till stranden.
  
  What could be improved: Det var besvärlig väg upp till boendet. Det var inga problem att promenera ner till tex centrum eller gamla stan, men hem tog vi taxi. Vilket var smidigt.

  Atemberaubender Ausblick aus dem Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer, die Festung und nicht zuletzt den Pool. Der Hof bietet genügend Parkplätze, sowie einen gemütlichen Poolbereich mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Abends traffen wir immer nette Appartmentbewohner an dem Ess- und Grillbereich am Pool und verbrachten spät in die Nacht gesellige Stunden 😀
  Wir haben 3 sehr erholsame Nächte dort verbracht und würden gern wieder kommen:-)

  Csodálatos volt a panoráma, nem lehetett betelni vele! A medence tökéletes méretű, hőfokú volt, minden délelőtt csobbantunk, és esténként is nagyon hangulatos volt a fürdőzés. Az apartman szép és tiszta volt. Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat!
  
  What could be improved: Kávéfőző és kenyérpirító hiányzott nekünk. A szállás, bár közel van a tengerhez, egy meredek úton lehet megközelíteni, emiatt mi autóval jártunk le és fel. A városban viszont nagyon nehéz volt parkolóhelyet találni. De ez nem a szállás hibája… 🙂

  Die Lage und der Blick sind wundervoll ! Man hat seine Ruhe es geht immer ein schöner Wind und das Zentrum ist dennoch schnell zu erreichen . Die Zimmer waren top und modern ausgestattet und sehr sauber . Für die Kids sogar Netflix – Yeaaahhh!! Ich würde immer wieder kommen . Ich würde sagen die Ausstattung ist für deutsche Verhältnisse Standard, für Montenegro jedoch gehoben daher der etwas hohe Preis im Vergleich zu anderen Zimmern in Montenegro. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und Maria war wirklich sehr zuvorkommend. Danke dafür !
  
  What could be improved: Leider gibt es ein paar kleinere Sachen die verbesserungswürdig sind: 1 von 2 Balkontüren lies sich kaum bis gar nicht öffnen , ein balkonstuhl war etwas kaputt , und im Pool lösen sich viele der Mosaik Fließen woran sich leider mein Mann und eine unsrer Tochter etwas verletzt / geschnitten haben . Und eine Überdachung für die Autos wäre wünschenswert.
