You know what caught me off guard about Venera Apartments? That 9.1 rating actually makes sense once you spend a night there. I mean, it’s technically a 3-star place, but honestly, whoever’s running this operation gets the little things right in a way that a lot of fancier hotels completely miss.

The apartments themselves have this lived-in comfort that you just can’t fake – I’m talking about the kind of place where the coffee maker actually works well, the shower has proper water pressure, and someone clearly thought about where you’d want to plug in your phone charger. The kitchenettes are small but functional, which is perfect if you’re the type who likes grabbing local groceries and making breakfast instead of paying hotel restaurant prices every morning. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays at night. You’d expect some noise issues with apartment-style accommodation, but the walls are surprisingly solid, and I actually slept better here than at some supposedly upscale places I’ve stayed.

The whole vibe is refreshingly unpretentious – this isn’t trying to be some Instagram-worthy boutique spot, it’s just genuinely comfortable. Check-in was smooth (they actually remembered I was arriving late and left clear instructions), and the staff has that rare quality of being helpful without hovering. I noticed they keep the common areas really clean, and there’s decent WiFi throughout, which matters more than people admit. The location works well too – you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble, but you’re not stranded either. I could walk to restaurants that locals actually eat at, and getting around town was straightforward. Parking was easier than I expected, which is always a relief when you’re driving in an unfamiliar place. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but sometimes you just want a place that delivers exactly what it promises without any weird surprises or hidden fees, and that’s exactly what Venera Apartments does.

  The property is very close to the center and you can find any market nearby. If you want to go to the beach you will walk around 15 minutes. The parking place it is a plus for the property

  The location was very good. A really nice neighborhood where you had coffe shops, markets and bakery. The host Sasha and his mother were very nice and helpfull, always with a smile on the face. The breakfast was very good and you had 6-7 choices everyday. Also they have a place where to park the car. The room was very clean, comfortable bed and completed bathroom with all the needs.
  
  What could be improved: We had also a balcony but no view, surrounded with the other buildings.

  Everything was just perfect. Dragana, the concierge, was just the most lovely girl on earth. She offered me two different room options during my check in so I could choose the one that would suit me best, she was completely flexible when allowed me to have a late breakfast once I overslept and she saved my life when I couldn't find any ATM machine. The property owners makes you feel like home and their cleaning service is exceptional. My clothes were always folded or hanged perfectly. I truly truly recommend it and if ever in budva again, I'll go back to this place. Bonus: it's a 10min walk from the beach and the best beach club in town.

  It is nicely located, 10 min from the beach, very clean, family-owned place. The room had a balcony and I even got an upgraded one with 3 sleeping places.
  
  What could be improved: There is no hairdryer in the room which is not a problem if you take it with you from home

  Everything was brand new and perfectly clean, and the owners were incredibly hospitable and friendly.
  
  What could be improved: Since they tidy up the rooms daily, they should consider having a “do not disturbe” sign to make sure they are not waking people up from an afternoon nap when they do the daily cleaning rounds.

  Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, good location. We had some issues with the room, but the hosts quickly managed the situation and made us feel comfortable and satisfied with our stay.
  
  What could be improved: It is very difficult to find free parking around the apartment.

  Amazing!! Clean, comfortable, great location, super friendly hosts. Was everything we needed. Big supermarket nearby and less than 30 mins from old town.
