So I stumbled across Vidikovac Marble House during my last trip, and honestly, it caught me off guard in the best way. The name makes it sound kind of fancy and intimidating, but when you walk in, there’s this perfect balance between elegant and approachable that’s actually pretty rare to find. The marble they’ve used throughout isn’t the cold, museum-y type you might expect – it’s warm and has these beautiful natural veins that catch the light just right, especially in the morning when the sun streams through the lobby windows.

What really struck me about this place is how they’ve nailed the four-star experience without feeling stuffy about it. You know what I mean? Like, the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay smooth, not just going through the motions. I had this issue with my key card on the second day (happens everywhere, right?), and instead of the usual “try again” routine, the front desk person actually walked with me to my room to sort it out. Small thing, but it mattered. The rooms themselves are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living in a closet – there’s actually room to spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the bed. And the bathrooms, well, they’ve clearly put thought into the layout because you’re not bumping your elbows every time you brush your teeth.

The location thing is interesting because while I can’t pinpoint the exact neighborhood for you, the vibe feels residential but not isolated – you get that sense of being where locals actually live rather than stuck in some tourist bubble. I noticed people walking their dogs in the morning, little corner shops nearby, that sort of authentic neighborhood feel. The 8.7 rating honestly makes sense when you add it all up. It’s not perfect – the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty on the third floor, and the breakfast could use a few more local options instead of the standard continental spread – but those are pretty minor complaints. What wins you over is the consistency of the whole experience. The housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, the common areas stay clean and welcoming, and there’s this overall attention to detail that suggests someone actually cares about this place beyond just filling rooms. I mean, you can tell when a hotel is just going through the motions versus when they’re genuinely trying to create something worth returning to. This one definitely falls into the latter category.

  Our stay in Budva was absolutely perfect, thanks to this incredible accommodation. The location couldn't be better – right in the heart of the city, close to everything you need, from stunning beaches to amazing restaurants and shops, all within a short walking distance. The flat itself exceeded all of our expectations. It was modern, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with every amenity we could ask for. The attention to detail was impressive, making this the best place we’ve ever stayed. We truly felt at home and didn't want to leave. We can’t recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again!!

  The views are spectacular beyond what we could ever imagine. Maria, the host couldn't have done more for us. She was so helpful getting taxis from the airport then on to Kotor. Every little thing had been thought of, wine and a cheese platter on arrival, coffee and olive oil a washing machine and detergent!!! And more toilet roll than you can imagine (we have 3 kids and they use lots). A truey memorable experience.

  Amazing stay! Apartment was beyond our expectations! We were shocked with stunning view over the sea and old town. The place was clean and there was all facilities we needed. Air conditioning is in every room, towels for each guest.
  
  What could be improved: For stunning views you pay by walking steep path from beach to the apartment. It wasn't easy in 30+ degree heat and we used a taxi multiple times.
  There's no wifi connection in the room nr 4.

  The location gives an amazing view of the ocean and city. The appartment was open and ligth, had 4 spaceous sleeping and bathrooms, and had lovely balconies on all sides. It was very clean and organized on arrival.
  
  What could be improved: The location, far up in the hill, off course makes the appartment far away from the city centre and beach.
  There are also some technical struggle with showers, and the pool was not clean, especially after the rainy weather. This could be improved.

  The view, the pool, the facilities and location all lovely. Check in was easy and Anna was so helpful and answered all our questions.

  The view was absolutely amazing, very clean and extremely spacious. 6 nights for 4100 euro was steep for only a group of 5, but if sharing it with a much larger group it would be more reasonable. We were on the top floor, it had it's own private rooftop terrace, a huge space with an awesome view.
  
  What could be improved: If coffee is high on your list, it says there is a coffee maker, but we didn't have one, nor anyone else we spoke to. Although the walk to town is only 15-20 mins it is a very steep road from the building, then a little hike into town or a 170 stone stairs for a shorter distance. We were there in July, so with the heat it was a killer. The pictures lead me to believe my unit was right off the pool but was actually 5 flights up (no elevator). The parking is very hairy, parking on a step angle.

  The place was exactly as it was seen on the internet. Maria was very accomodating and even gave number for taxis i can call to avoid being overcharged. She was always easy to contact and they even prepared a welcome wine and cheeseboard for us. She was very nice to meet us in a restaurant to give us the deposit. She was very lovely and nice! They had everything prepared, explained how to use things and was always ready to answer questions. I love everything about the trip, it was an amazing and unforgettable experience! Will not think twice in booking this place!

  Odličan apartman, ČIST,prostran,2kupatila,2spavaće sobe sa francuskim ležajima, peškiri,veliki dnevni boravak sa kuhinjom i trpezarijom, sa svim potrebama za duži boravak(posudje,zacini…)terasa,mašina za veš,aparat za kafu…apsolutno sve…

  הדירה הייתה יפה, נקייה ומרווחת. הנוף מהמרפסת עוצר נשימה
  ניכר שחשבו על צרכים שונים של האורחים מבחינת האבזור של הדירה (מגהץ, מכונת כביסה+מתקן תלייה, מכונת קפה כלי מטבח רבים וכו׳).
  במהלך השהות היתה לנו בעייה בשרותים שמיהרו להגיע ולסדר
  
  What could be improved: הבניין נמצא על ההר והעלייה אליו תלולה מאד, קשה לעלות ולרדת במזג אוויר חם. שכרנו רכב למרות שהזהירו אותנו שיהיה קשה למצוא חנייה באזור אבל הצלחנו להסתדר..
  חשוב לדעת שאם מזמינים מונית המחיר זול בהרבה ממונית שתופסים ברחוב. בקשו מהמארח מספרי טלפון של מוניות.
