The thing about this spot is that it sits in this quiet residential area just outside Budva’s chaos, and I mean that in the best way possible. You’re maybe a 10-minute drive from all the Old Town madness, but here? You actually get to hear birds in the morning instead of drunk tourists stumbling home at 4 AM.

The family running this place – they’ve got that Montenegrin hospitality thing down perfectly. Not the fake, over-the-top stuff you get at big chain hotels, but genuine warmth. The owner, this lovely older woman, actually remembered my coffee preference by day three (strong, no sugar, if you’re wondering). The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing fancy, but honestly, when you’re spending most of your time exploring the coast, who needs marble bathrooms and champagne service? What you do need is a good shower with decent water pressure (check), air conditioning that actually works (double check), and a balcony where you can sit with a beer and watch the sunset paint those Montenegrin hills golden. The villa delivers on all of that.

Here’s what really sets this place apart though – the location knowledge. The owner’s son drew me this little map showing how to get to Jaz Beach via the back roads, completely avoiding the summer traffic nightmare on the main coastal road. Saved me probably hours over the week. And you know what? That 9.9 rating isn’t some fluke or fake review campaign. It’s because places like this remember that hospitality is about making people feel at home, not impressing them with fancy lobbies. The breakfast is simple but good – fresh local bread, proper cheese, coffee that doesn’t taste like it came from a machine. There’s parking right there (trust me, this matters in Montenegro), and the WiFi actually works throughout the property. Sure, the decor is a bit dated and the elevator makes this weird humming sound, but those are the kind of quirks that give a place character. I’ve stayed in sterile 5-star places that I forgot about before I even checked out. Viewpoint Villa? I’m already planning my next trip back.
