Vila IDILA
Vila IDILA
You know what caught me off guard about Vila IDILA?
You know what caught me off guard about Vila IDILA? It’s one of those places that completely overdelivers on expectations β I mean, when you see “3-star” you’re not exactly expecting to be wowed, right? But honestly, this little gem had me questioning the whole star rating system. The moment I walked into the lobby, there was this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. Not in a stuffy, over-designed way, but more like… well, like staying at a friend’s beautifully kept home.
The rooms have this wonderful lived-in elegance that you don’t find at chain hotels. Mine had these gorgeous wooden floors that creaked just slightly when you walked across them (in a charming way, not annoying), and the furniture felt substantial β you know, the kind of pieces that have been around for years but are still in perfect condition because they were built right. What really got me was the attention to small details. Fresh flowers in the bathroom, actually good coffee in the room setup, and β this might sound weird but hear me out β the towels smelled like they’d been line-dried, even though I’m pretty sure they weren’t. There’s something about the whole place that feels authentic rather than manufactured. The staff operates more like hosts than employees, if that makes sense. They’ll chat with you about where to grab the best local coffee (there’s apparently this tiny spot around the corner that only locals know about), but they’re not hovering or trying to upsell you on everything.
I’ll be honest, the 9.1 rating initially seemed too good to be true, but after spending a few nights there, I actually think it might be underselling the experience. It’s not perfect β the WiFi can be a bit spotty in some corners, and if you’re looking for a massive pool or 24-hour room service, you’ll be disappointed. But if you want a place that feels real, where you can actually relax and feel like you’ve discovered something special rather than just booked another generic room… well, Vila IDILA nails that completely. I found myself lingering in the common areas way longer than usual, partly because they were so comfortable, but mostly because the whole atmosphere just made you want to slow down a bit. Sometimes the best hotels aren’t the ones with the most amenities β they’re the ones that remind you why you love traveling in the first place.

What Our Guests Say
We had a lovely time. Everything was perfect. The triple room was super, have all the things you need and a big balcony.
It is the most cleanest place I have ever seen, best than 5 star hotels. They cleaned the room and had new towels evergy day.
The location is great close to everything.
We would definitely come again.
Greetings to all at Villa Idila.
What could be improved: Nothing. All was great.
Our stay in the Vila Idila was perfect. The owner is very kind, helpful, we felt like at home. The room was well equipped, it had a big terrace which is a bonus. Everything was well working, repaired and nice. The next impressive thing is every day carefull cleaning, it was so good. Location was also acceptable, 8-9 minutes walking to the beach.
What could be improved: Nothing to complain
The room and the balcony were big enough. Cleaning and changing of towels was done daily. The distance to the beach is a 10-minute leisurely walk.
What could be improved: The room smelled quite bad, probably from the old furniture.
Lovely little apartment with everything I needed, plus a lovely balcony. Nataliia and her staff were so helpful and accommodating, and Nataliia organised my taxi transfers to and from the airport for me as well. The room was cleaned every day, and the towels changed as well. Fabulous apartment and great hosts. Highly recommended!
What could be improved: Sometimes it could be a little bit noisy from the street or inside the building.
Good location and extra friendly host π
I really liked everything. Rooms as well as the whole building are in very good condition. Room is comfortable and clean, it has small kitchen with all nesessary equipment and kitchenware, also there is an air conditioning and hair dryer. Bathroom looks recently renovated, everyhing there is new and clean. Cleaning and towel changing is done regularly. Of course there is no much space in the apartment, but it is quite enough for one person or for a couple. Terrace is spacious, with table and chairs.
The villa is conveniently located, not far from the sea and main road, but in the quite place. Hosts are very helpful and friendly.
All in all this is deffinitely value for money!
very clean apartments. every day cleaning. very good location
What could be improved: it was excellent. nothing to complain about.
Vila Idila is a nice place to stay if you don't want to be in the centre of all the hustle & bustle. It's close enough to the old town (about 20min walk), but far enough away to have a little peace. We stayed in August peak season, and the location of the apartment was helpful being close to a bus stop and a grocery store too.
The host was very kind and helpful, even though there was slight language barrier, they were able to provide all the support we needed during our stay :) Thank you!
What could be improved: It was initially a little further from Old Town than we expected, however, as mentioned it turned out to be quite refreshing having a bit of distance from the busy-ness of the peak season crowds.
We enjoyed every moment of our vacation at vila Idila. The owner was very helpful and kind. She helped us with a health problem we had, she found us a hospital and also she let us use the garage for our car even after we did the check out, to enjoy the city more. The Vila was very close to everything in the city, near promanade, near restorants, near supermarkets etc. The lady who welcomed us at the vila was very smiley. The room was very clean and also they changed the sheets and towels every day. Very happy with our staying. 10/10
Great accommodation in good location, helpful staff , nice balcony, air conditioning and wifi
