I mean, this isn’t your cookie-cutter hotel experience – it feels more like staying at a well-appointed family home where everything just… works. The 4-star rating doesn’t tell the whole story here, honestly. Sure, it might not have all the bells and whistles of those massive chain hotels, but there’s something refreshingly authentic about the whole setup that had me settling in way faster than usual.

The rooms have this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – think quality linens that actually feel good, not just look good in photos, and furniture that seems chosen for actual human use rather than Instagram shots. I appreciated that the staff knew their stuff without being overly formal about it. Check-in was smooth (no weird hold on my card for three days like some places), and they had those little touches that show experience – extra phone chargers at the front desk, decent coffee in the lobby that’s actually available when you need it at 6 AM, that sort of thing. The 8.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a day or two. It’s not perfect – the WiFi got a bit spotty during what I’m guessing were peak hours, and the walls aren’t exactly soundproof if you get stuck next to early risers – but the overall experience just feels right.

What really won me over was how the place sits in the area. You’re not fighting tourist crowds every time you step outside, but you’re also not stranded somewhere requiring a 30-minute journey to find decent food. I found myself walking to several local spots that clearly weren’t just catering to hotel guests, which always feels like a win. The neighborhood has that authentic feel where you see actual residents going about their day, not just other travelers taking photos. Parking was straightforward too, which honestly can make or break a stay depending on what you’re used to. If you’re looking for a place that delivers on comfort without the corporate hotel vibe, Villa Andjelina hits that sweet spot. It’s the kind of place where you sleep well, the shower pressure doesn’t disappoint, and you’re not constantly wondering if you picked the right spot.

  Clean, comfortable, nice staff.
  
  What could be improved: You need to walk to the property next to deep concrete water channel that is unprotected and deep. I would be super careful if I walked with children.
  Not many places to eat nearby.

  Very nice apartman, fully equipped, with a huge balcony. The hosts are very amicable. There is a good restaurant in the neighborhood and the beach is cca 5-10 mins walk. The is also a supermarket in the immediate vicinity.
  Added plus are the pool and the lovely cats.

  Very nice and friendly hostess. Offered slivovitz, coffee, water on arrival. Everything new, very clean, spacious. Private pool. Nice view over the bay. Beach, shop, restaurant nearby. 30minutes on bike to old town.

  Probably the best place we have been in Montenegro, a great place (we spent 2 nights and then another 2 later). You really feel comfy. Great people. And of course, there are some lovely kittens around that will melt your heart. Make sure to love and feed them 😉

  The room was clean, small size but enough, with a nice balcony. The swimming pool is a great point and the private parking in front of the door. An IDEA supermarket, beach and some restaurants a few steps from the building. Bed is also comfy. The girl showing everything welcoming and nice.
