You know what struck me first about Villa Danigo? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you – and somehow that makes it more charming. I mean, it’s officially a 3-star hotel, but honestly, it punches way above its weight. The moment you walk in, there’s this lived-in elegance that feels authentic rather than staged. The lobby has these worn leather chairs that actually look comfortable (and are), and you can tell the staff genuinely cares about the place rather than just going through the motions.
The rooms are what I’d call “thoughtfully simple” – nothing flashy, but everything works exactly as it should. The beds are surprisingly good quality, and I actually slept better here than at some fancier places I’ve stayed. What really won me over were the little touches that show someone’s paying attention: proper reading lights on both sides of the bed, enough outlets for your devices, and – this might sound silly – but the shower pressure is excellent. You’d be amazed how many hotels mess that up. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout the building too, which matters if you’re trying to get work done or upload photos without wanting to throw your phone across the room.
Here’s the thing that explains that 8.7 rating – Villa Danigo gets the fundamentals right without any pretense. The breakfast spread isn’t huge, but what they do have is fresh and clearly sourced locally. The coffee is actually drinkable (I’m picky about this), and the pastries taste like they were made that morning, not shipped in frozen. Check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about local restaurants, the front desk person gave me three specific recommendations with walking directions, not just a generic tourist brochure. It’s that kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than in a corporate hotel bubble. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with a rooftop pool or marble everything, but if you want a solid, comfortable stay with people who know what hospitality actually means – well, you could do a lot worse than Villa Danigo.

The apartment and its facilities where amazing. So lovely to relax especially with the added bonus of the spa Jacuzzi and robes. Amazing View in a quiet residential area.
What could be improved: The shower holder in the main bathroom was broken but we reported this on arrival. It wasnt a big issue as shower was still fully functioning.
The area in and around the villas location had lots of rubbish dumped with household furnishings and building materials making the area around the villa look a little rough. Steep hills up to the villa are difficult if your disabled or not physically fit ( I have a heart condition) It was a challenge getting back and then having to climb steps to the top floor apartment. A mention of this on villa description would help so bookers are aware👍
Modern and clean apartment! Lovely building and the owner was really helpful.
What could be improved: For those without a car, the hill approaching the property is fairly steep. Difficult to drag suitcases up!
We kregen bij aankomst (per ongeluk) een ander, maar groter appartement dan we geboekt hadden. Het appartement was werkelijk geweldig! Zeer groot met alle voorzieningen die je maar nodig kan hebben (wasmachine, strijkijzer, complete keuken met toebehorenen, heerlijke douche etc.). Ook zat er een mega groot balkon bij inclusief loungeset en hangstoel. Hier was het heerlijk vertoeven! Je had ook een mooi uitzicht op de stad. Eigen parkeerplaats met slagboom die te bedienen is met afstandsbediening aan de sleutel van het appartement.
Goed werkende airco! Heel erg schoon appartement. Wij hebben genoten! ♡

This Vila is too much, really perfect. The terrace is great for breakfast or having a drink, the room is big cozy and comfortable and the kitchen and toilette well equipped. The host in addition very responsive and helpful. The parking place makes the difference. In addition it is very close to the downtown, 15 minutes walking
Le logement est idéalement placé : dans les hauteurs de Budva mais en même temps très proche de la vieille ville et de la plage.
Il y a également quelques commerces à proximité.
Igor est très accueillant et de bons conseils si on souhaite visiter la ville.
Le logement est bien équipé, la place de parking sécurisée.

Everything was awesome, especially the host he was so kind and super helpful. I felt like I’m at home 🤍.
Comfortable and clean room, kitchen was ok but lacked basics, no cleaning materials. Very friendly host.
What could be improved: Basically the property is a budget option, there is a lot of building work going on around and there is no real outlook.
Beautiful apartment with plenty of space and also a stunning balcony with a great view overlooking Budva! The host was really nice and helpful!
