You know what struck me first about Villa Danile? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you – and somehow that makes it even better. I mean, sure, it’s technically a 3-star property, but honestly, the 9.2 rating tells the real story here. These aren’t your cookie-cutter hotel rooms; they’re proper apartments where you can actually live for a few days without feeling like you’re camping out in beige corporate housing. The moment I walked into my unit, I could tell someone put thought into making this feel like a home. There’s that cozy factor you can’t fake – maybe it’s the way the furniture is arranged, or how the kitchen actually has everything you need (not just a sad mini-fridge and two coffee cups). The lighting is warm rather than harsh, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without everything looking like a tornado hit.

What really gets me about Villa Danile is how it nails all those little things that matter when you’re traveling. The beds are actually comfortable – I’m talking proper sleep, not that weird hotel insomnia where you’re hyper-aware of being in a strange place. The apartments have this lived-in quality that makes you feel settled pretty much immediately. And can we talk about having a real kitchen for a second? Being able to grab some local ingredients and cook breakfast instead of hunting down overpriced hotel food every morning – that’s a game changer, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights. The whole setup just makes sense for people who want to experience a place rather than just pass through it. I found myself actually looking forward to coming back at the end of each day, which honestly doesn’t happen that often when I’m traveling.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t a place for people who need their hand held or want someone available 24/7 to fluff their pillows. It’s more independent living, which I actually love, but some folks might find it too hands-off. The trade-off is totally worth it if you ask me. You get genuine comfort, space to breathe, and that rare feeling of stumbling onto something special that hasn’t been focus-grouped to death. The high rating isn’t some marketing fluke – it’s because Villa Danile delivers on what matters: a place that feels good to be in, works the way it should, and doesn’t cost a fortune. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just do the basics exceptionally well, and that’s exactly what you’re getting here.

  We liked the location of the apartment. The apartment is close to the Old Town. There is a supermarket located nearby. The host was very hospitable and always in touch.

  The apartment was very spacious, clean, well-equipped (including basic kitchen supplies such as oil and salt for cooking) and centrally located at a 5-minute walk from the Old Town and Mogren beach in a nice quiet area.
  
  Marina was an incredible host – she had beach towels for us, a beach umbrella, laundry detergent and was so helpful during our stay making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
  
  We had a nice mountain sea view as well!
  Beds were comfortable and ac worked wonderfully. We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Budva and will definitely stay here again in the future (hopefully return to Budva next year :)) There are so many great bars and restaurants in the old town to explore.
  
  Lastly, when I left, I was travelling from Budva to Dubrovnik and had forgotten my jewelry box at the appartment. Marina went above and beyond to make arrangements with the ferry to ensure my jewelry was sent on the next ferry to Dubrovnik. I was able to receive my jewelry in the port that evening!!!
