Hotel Description
Villa Dvor Kornic sits on this quiet residential street called Vojvođanska, and honestly, that’s probably the first thing you’ll notice – how peaceful it feels compared to the chaos down by Budva’s main strip. I mean, you’re still close enough to walk to the old town in maybe 10 minutes, but you actually get some sleep at night instead of listening to drunk tourists stumbling around until 4 AM.
The place has that family-run feel that’s becoming harder to find along the Montenegro coast. It’s not fancy – we’re talking solid 3-star territory here – but there’s something refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t try to be something it isn’t. The rooms are clean and straightforward, with those simple white linens and decent air conditioning (which you’ll definitely need in July and August). The bathrooms are small but functional, though the water pressure can be a bit temperamental – pretty standard for this part of Budva, actually. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything stayed, even when the place was full. The building itself has some character too, with this traditional Montenegrin architecture that feels authentic rather than touristy.
You know what really sets Villa Dvor Kornic apart though? The owners actually seem to care about their guests having a good experience. They’ll give you proper directions to the beach (skip the crowded Slovenska Plaza and head to Mogren instead), and they know which restaurants are worth your money versus the tourist traps. The location on Vojvođanska means you’re in a real neighborhood – there’s a little bakery two blocks down where locals grab their morning burek, and you’ll see kids playing football in the small park nearby. Parking can be tricky during peak season, but they’ll help you figure it out rather than just shrugging their shoulders like some places do. The 7.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow you away with luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. If you’re the type of traveler who values location, decent value, and actually getting some rest over having a rooftop pool and marble everything, this could be your spot.

Good for a weekend – Sophie from United Kingdom – June 27, 2023 (7/10)
The room was clean if a little tired. The location was a 5min walk to the beach but the area is currently under renovation, so it’s not the greatest looking. It would have been helpful to know the reception is shared with Hotel Fagus prior to arriving. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful.
Good for 1 or 2 nights – Emelia from United Kingdom – June 15, 2023 (7/10)
Great location, great breakfast and clean
What could be improved: The staff are not very welcoming and the wifi is really badVery nice hotel for this price – Beata from Poland – October 9, 2022 (8/10)
Very nice hotel, modern, big rooms, nice bathroom. Delicious breakfast is in the neighbour hotel with a lot of different food to choose and tasty coffee. About 300m to nearest beach and 500-600m to clean and better beach and sea. Good location: close to the center, restaurants ect. Nice and helpful staff
What could be improved: There is no parking space except for couple (4 or 5) of spaces for 5€/day so it could not be available and it is impossible to find free spaces in Budva. There is no elevator in hotel, for us it wasn't a problem, but for elder people it might be. Wifi works just terribleGreat room in a perfect location. – Ryan from Ireland – August 15, 2022 (8/10)
The location was very close to the beach and the breakfast was excellent. A great selection.
What could be improved: WiFi in our room did not work. This issue was reported to staff in numerous occasions and nothing was done.Pleasant – Mihai from Romania – August 15, 2024 (6/10)
Excelent location
What could be improved: Old villa, 1997 all over. Old furniture with lots of flaws. Air conditioning right over the bed, cannot sleep with it on. They charged 10 eu per day for parking in the street, on the handicaped spot. When I requested a recept they gqve me a hand written one with no data of firm or company. Breakfast was at Fagus hotel, 4 star, but mediocre with cheap products. At check out I had to wait 10 minutes for my room to be verified.Overpriced for the size of the accommodation. Breakfast helped. – Paul from Australia – October 4, 2023 (6/10)
Location close to everything, from bus station to beach and restaurants. Breakfast was good, lots to choose from and good quality.
What could be improved: Room was not like pictures, dated and small. No room for luggage. Bathroom was small as well.Pleasant – Gerhard from Germany – October 18, 2022 (6/10)
the balcony was big
What could be improved: the internet was nearly completely bad connection at the 2nd floor in the room. no whatsapp call was working
the room was very small for a double bed, less space around the bed
no elevatorExceptional – Jasmina from Serbia – May 3, 2025 (10/10)
We liked everything. Room was amazing, breakfast too. Workers are so kind. And the Villa is in centar of Budva, we went everywhere by foot.
Exceptional – Inna from Spain – September 20, 2024 (10/10)
The hotel was a delightful retreat with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Our balcony room offered a serene view of lush greenery and vibrant flowers.
Unamed hotel on booking.com website – Karen from United Kingdom – July 4, 2024 (5/10)
Not geared up for tourists yet!
What could be improved: No coffee/tea/milk in room. Kettle in a cupboard, not conjusive to healthy and safety!
