Hotel Description
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Villa Favorite on Topliški Put, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in unassuming packages. This little gem sits tucked away from Budva’s main tourist chaos, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to actually sleep at night instead of listening to drunk British tourists stumbling back from the beach clubs at 3 AM.
The location is actually pretty clever – you’re far enough from the Old Town madness to have some peace, but close enough that a 15-minute walk gets you right into the heart of everything. I mean, sure, it’s uphill on the way back (and after a few Nikšićko beers, that hill feels steeper), but the trade-off is worth it. The owners clearly know what they’re doing here. The place has that family-run feel where someone actually cares about whether your shower has decent water pressure – and trust me, after staying in some of the bigger hotels along the coast where “hot water” is more of a suggestion than a guarantee, this matters more than you’d think.
What really won me over was how they’ve managed to keep things simple without feeling cheap. The rooms aren’t going to win any design awards, but they’re clean, the AC works (crucial in July), and there’s this nice terrace area where you can have your morning coffee while planning your day. The staff – well, they’re locals who’ll actually tell you where to get the best ćevapi instead of just pointing you toward the overpriced tourist traps near Slovenska Plaža. They recommended this tiny bakery about five minutes away that does fresh burek every morning, and honestly, that tip alone made my stay.
The rating of 8 out of 10 makes total sense once you understand what you’re getting – this isn’t luxury, but it’s solid, unpretentious hospitality in a country where tourism is still figuring itself out. You’ll find better views at some of the clifftop places, sure, but you’ll also pay three times as much and deal with crowds that make getting to breakfast feel like a contact sport. Here, you can park your car without selling a kidney (though spaces fill up during peak season, so get back before evening), the Wi-Fi actually works for video calls, and nobody’s trying to upsell you on everything from towels to toilet paper. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need – a clean, comfortable base where you can crash between beach days and Old Town explorations without breaking the bank or your patience.
Budva’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with sea views, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this picturesque Montenegrin coastal town.

Reviews
Wonderful – Іванна from Ukraine – August 2, 2025 (9/10)
Everything was good. The reception and breakfast were indeed in another hotel, but it was very close. Breakfast was decent. Our children liked the pancakes.
What could be improved: There is no free parking near the hotel. They said they have their own parking, but it cost 10 euro a day and was fully packed. We found another paid parking 500 meters away (also 10 euros a day). It seems there are almost no hotels with free parking (except for the expensive ones) that close too beach and old town.Good – Lidija from Lithuania – July 10, 2025 (7/10)
Great location – close to the sea and the old town, which made it easy to explore the area. The room itself was cozy and comfortable, a nice place to relax after a day out.
What could be improved: However, the check-in process was quite frustrating – we had to spend over an hour trying to find someone from the staff, as there was no one at the property and it took several calls before someone finally answered.
Before arrival, we were told there would be parking available, but once we got there, we were informed that the property actually doesn’t have its own parking. Instead, we were directed to park at a nearby hotel for an extra €10 per day.
Additionally, the bathroom faucet was broken and sprayed water in all directions.Good – Damjan from Slovenia – May 2, 2025 (7/10)
What could be improved: – extra fee for insurance (rejected from our side)
– hot water only for 3/5 persons
– TV doesnt workShort vacation in Budva – Artur from Ukraine – July 11, 2025 (9/10)

2. Amazing breakfast
3. Internet speed
What could be improved: 1. Parking facilities: Took money for 2 days parking, but suddenly provide only for 1 day;
2. Room arrangements: there were no plates, forks, spoons, etc.
3. Laundry service: staff on reception don't know price about Laundry service (5-10€ for 1 load) not clear explanationVery Good – Stefan from Serbia – July 10, 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: There were no any type of pot to cook a coffee or eggs.
There were no chairs and table on the balcon.Exceptional – Aliomerovic from Bosnia and Herzegovina – July 31, 2025 (10/10)

The location was perfect. The staff were amazing especially Nuri who couldn't do any more for us if he tried. The breakfast which was included was delicious and plenty of choices.
What could be improved: Need to let bookings know they have to check in at Hotel Eden across the road
