Villa Ines
Villa Ines
You know what struck me first about Villa Ines?
You know what struck me first about Villa Ines? It’s tucked away in Velji Vinogradi – which literally means “big vineyards” – and you can actually see why they named it that when you’re sitting on your balcony with morning coffee. The whole area has this residential feel that’s honestly refreshing after dealing with the chaos down in Budva’s old town. I mean, don’t get me wrong, the old town is gorgeous and you’ll definitely want to spend time there, but it’s nice to retreat somewhere that feels more… authentic, I guess? The walk down to the main strip takes about fifteen minutes, maybe twenty if you’re taking your time, and it’s mostly downhill – which is great until you realize you have to walk back up after a long day at the beach.
The hotel itself has that Mediterranean villa vibe going on, with white stone and these little terraces that catch the light just right in the late afternoon. What I really appreciated – and this might sound weird – is that they seem to actually care about the details that matter. Like, the parking situation is sorted (which, if you’ve driven in Montenegro, you know is not a given), and the rooms have proper blackout curtains, not those flimsy things that let in every streetlight. The staff genuinely knows the area too, which makes such a difference. When I asked about getting to Sveti Stefan without dealing with tour groups, the guy at reception drew me a little map showing the back road that locals use. That’s the kind of insider knowledge you can’t fake. The 8.9 rating honestly makes sense – it’s not trying to be some flashy resort, but everything just… works. The WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the shower pressure is actually decent, and you can sleep without earplugs even though you’re not in the middle of nowhere. Plus, there’s something to be said for waking up to that view of the hills rather than staring at another hotel across a narrow street. If you’re the type who wants to experience Montenegro beyond just the tourist spots but still have a comfortable base to come back to, Villa Ines hits that sweet spot perfectly.
Hotel in Budva booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally popular music festivals and beach parties.

"We had a wonderful vacation together with my son; we were able to explore the entire city on foot. We will choose The cleanliness, comfort, and the hotel’s location close to everything are excellent. There’s also a warm family atmosphere.
Exceptional It was very calm, everything was functional in the apartment. Location was great, few minutes walking to the beach and so on. It was pretty pleasant and positive experience with this accomodation
We highly reccomend it! Lovely people.
Great location.
Comfy and clean rooms.
Loved everything, couldn't recommend it more highly Everything about Villa Ines was incredible. I was lost when I first arrived and when I found some wifi to message the host they asked me to send a picture of where I was. Not even 5 minutes later they'd come to find me and lead me back to the apartment. Check in was super easy and the room was immaculate. They cleaned the room and provided fresh towels every day. The bed was super comfortable, shower had great pressure and the bathroom was modern and well kept. Location was fantastic, quick walk to the beach, good cafes and not far from Old Town. I couldn't recommend it more highly.
What could be improved: There was nothing I didn't like. I couldn't complain even if I tried.
Friendly staff Very clean
What could be improved: All good
Exceptional The location is marvelous. It takes approximately 5-10 minutes to get to the closest beach and 1-2 minutes to the cafe and market nearby. The property provided all the mentioned facilities and looked just the same as in the photos. The room was cleaned every day.
Also, we were absolutely amazed by the kindness and hospitality of the hosts. Nena and her husband are extremely charming people, very thoughtful and helpful. Whenever we needed something, they were always ready to help.
I really hope to come back one day:)
For comfort and lodging The owner of the place is beautiful, helpful and jovial. The room is clean and the location is great, but it needs a prominent and clear sign outside
What could be improved: nothing
