Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Montenegro over the years, and Villa LuceSole honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. When you first pull up to Visnjeva street (and yes, you’ll probably miss the turn like I did), this place doesn’t scream “luxury hotel” from the outside. It’s more understated than that, which I actually appreciate after dealing with so many overdone resort lobbies along the Adriatic coast.

What really sets this place apart is how they’ve nailed the balance between being polished and feeling authentic. The rooms – and I mean this – actually deserve that 9.6 rating they’ve got. Everything works the way it should, the AC doesn’t sound like a freight train (huge win in summer), and honestly, the attention to detail reminds me more of a high-end boutique place than your typical 4-star. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right, which you know isn’t always a given in tourist areas. I remember the guy at reception giving me specific directions to avoid the main Budva traffic mess – turns out there’s this back route that saves you like 15 minutes during peak season madness.

Here’s the thing about the location that most reviews won’t tell you: you’re close enough to old town Budva that you can walk there without breaking a sweat, but far enough up the hill that you escape most of the party noise that can honestly ruin your sleep in July and August. And parking – which is basically gold in Budva – isn’t the nightmare it is closer to the beach. The whole area has this residential feel where you’ll see actual Montenegrins going about their day, not just tourists stumbling around with sunburns. There’s even this little bakery maybe two blocks away where locals grab their morning burek, and the coffee is better than what you’ll find in most hotels. Villa LuceSole gets the fundamentals right in ways that matter when you’re actually living there for a few days. The WiFi works everywhere (tested it by the pool), breakfast isn’t the usual sad buffet situation, and they’ve somehow managed to keep things quiet even when they’re full. I mean, after spending time at some of the beach hotels where you can hear every conversation through paper-thin walls, the peace here feels almost luxurious.

  Everything is just like on the photos. Property is new and modern with a lot of space. Pool is clean, view is amazing. Beaches Jaz and Trsteno are perfect and nearby. If you want to visit the bay and Montenegro this is a place you should chose

  Wonderful place, villa is clean, has everything you need for a vacation, the beautiful beaches of Jaz, Ploče, Trsteno are 5 minutes away by car. Quiet and beautiful place with a beautiful view of the sea.Pool is beautiful and warm, the children enjoyed it the most!!

  וילה גדולה וחדשה, מאובזרת בצורה מעולה, סלון גדול, מטבח גדול ומאובזר, חדר גדול עם מקלחת ושירותים בקומת הכניסה. בריכה מפנקת בחוץ ונוף חלקי לים, שירות מצויין והמלצות למסעדות מעולות באיזור. בעלת המקום שמעה שלאבא יש יום הולדת 86 ושלחה לנו בקבוק יין ושוקולד איכותי מקומי.
  
  What could be improved: יש מידי פעם נפילות מתח בחשמל, שבאות לידי ביטוי בעמעום אורות, אין מעקה בגרם המדרגות שמוביל לקומה השניה (לא בטיחותי בעיקר לילדים).

  יש מספיק חדרי רחצה לכולם.
  מיקום נהדר, רחוק מרעש העיר הגדולה ועם זאת 10 דקות נסיעה ברכב לכל מקום שצריך – מינימרקט, חופים, מסעדות ומרכזי קניות.
  סוניה מנהלת המקום קשובה לכל בעיה או בקשה. בעלה המקסים מגיע לתקן ולעזור בכל מה שצריך.
  תענוג גדול.
  ללא ספק נחזור שוב.
