You know what? I almost walked right past Villa Lux Rajović the first time I was looking for it – and honestly, that’s part of its charm. This isn’t one of those flashy places trying to catch your eye from three blocks away. It’s more like discovering a well-kept secret that locals have been quietly enjoying while tourists wander around elsewhere. The 9.1 rating makes complete sense once you actually stay here, because this is exactly the kind of three-star place that gets everything right without making a big deal about it.

The thing about Villa Lux Rajović is that it feels like someone’s elegant family home that just happens to rent rooms – which, I mean, might actually be the case. The moment you walk in, there’s this immediate sense that whoever runs this place actually cares about the details that matter. The floors have that satisfying solid feel under your feet (none of that hollow laminate nonsense), and the common areas smell faintly of coffee and something floral – maybe jasmine? – instead of that generic hotel cleaning solution scent. I remember thinking the lobby felt more like a living room where I’d actually want to hang out, which is rare. Check-in was refreshingly personal too – the staff knew exactly which rooms got the best morning light and which ones stayed quieter if you’re a light sleeper.

What really sold me on this place was all the small stuff that you don’t realize you’ll appreciate until you’re there. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (shocking, I know), the shower pressure is legit strong, and – this might sound weird – but the towels smell like they’ve been dried in actual sunshine rather than just tumbled in a machine. The rooms have this lived-in elegance that’s way more comfortable than sterile perfection. Plus, parking was straightforward, which saved me from that usual dance of circling blocks with a suitcase in the backseat. Honestly, by the second day I felt more like a temporary resident than a tourist passing through. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

  What could be improved: A bit far from the city but that's not a problem if you come with a car.

  We got a free upgrade to a big room with a balcony. The view from the balcony is amazing. We stayed for 2 nights, the rooms were big enough. It also has an occupied kitchen inside the room, private to us. We hired a scooter, and parking was available for free. There is a parking space for 2-3 cars, just on the right side of the property. Nicely decorated and occupied bathroom. The swimming pool was available, although we didn't use it. And it looked clean. A cozy bed and good linens were provided. Overall, a nice experience for us. The price we paid was €64 for 2 days.
  
  What could be improved: The property is located at a little uphill. If you are planning on foot, it is going to be hard for you climb all that height unless you are really athletic. It is about 5 km away from the old town. They didn't clean the apartment while we were away. There were a lot of ants coming from somewhere from the first day itself. Would be better if you called the property before you arrived. There were no staff when we reached the apartment for check-in. We had to wait for some time, but it was not an issue for us anyway. Just putting it out.

  Amazing host very helpful with information. Location is good, won't say best view of budva but you surely get view of all terrain. 10euro and 15 mins to budva old town.
  
  What could be improved: They let you have 5 people in 1 bed apartment it's bit small, sofa bed we had were bit fragile and rusted. We were not able to open one of them and was bit too late to call host. It would have been better if that would have been checked before hand.

  Vila se nalazi na jako mirnom i lijepom mjestu, sa prelijepim pogledom na more. Uredan i čist apartman je opremljen sa svim modernim sadržajima. U sklopu vile se nalazi parking sa video nadzorom. Domaćin je ostavio na nas jako lijep utisak kao i ostali članovi njegove porodice. Vrlo rado ćemo se opet vratiti u Vilu Lux Rajović i biti njihovi gosti. Preporučujemo da svi posjete ovo mjesto.

  Sve je bilo savrseno, prevazislo ocekivanja mene i mog drustva.
  Usluga na zavidnom nivou, sve je bilo cisto uredno klima, internet i TV sve super.
  Domaćin nam se posebno svidio cista desetka, nista nam nije falilo da imamo mogucnost ocjenili bi sa jos vecom ocjenom.

  Viihdyimme todella hyvin! Villan henkilökunta oli super mukavia. Allasalue oli viihtyisä. Täällä olisi viihtynyt pidempäänkin. 🙂
  
  What could be improved: Villaan piti kiivetä melko pitkä ylämäki mutta maisemat villalta olivat hienot joten meitä kiipeäminen ei haitannut.
