Villa MD
You know what caught me off guard about Villa MD?
You know what caught me off guard about Villa MD? The fact that a 3-star place can honestly feel more welcoming than some of those stuffy 5-star hotels where you’re afraid to touch anything. I mean, don’t get me wrong β it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but there’s this genuine warmth to the place that you pick up on the moment you walk through the front door.
The staff actually remembers your name after the first day, which sounds small but makes such a difference when you’re traveling. I stayed there for four nights last spring, and by day two, the front desk guy was asking how my morning coffee was and whether I’d figured out the best route to avoid the construction nearby (there’s always construction somewhere, right?). The rooms are what you’d expect β clean, comfortable beds that don’t leave you with a crick in your neck, decent water pressure in the shower. Nothing fancy, but honestly, everything works properly, which is more than I can say for that supposedly luxurious place I stayed at last year where the air conditioning sounded like a freight train.
What really sets Villa MD apart is how they handle the little things that can make or break a trip. The Wi-Fi actually reaches every corner of the building β I tested it because I’m paranoid about these things β and it’s fast enough for video calls if you’re stuck dealing with work stuff. The breakfast isn’t trying to be some elaborate buffet, but what they do have is fresh and they make a surprisingly good local coffee that kept me coming back each morning. Plus, they’re pretty flexible about timing if you’re not exactly a morning person. The location works well too; you’re close enough to the main areas without being right in the middle of all the tourist chaos, so you can actually get some sleep at night. Parking was straightforward, which saved me the headache of circling blocks looking for a spot. That 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there β it’s the kind of place where everything just… works. No drama, no unpleasant surprises, just solid hospitality that makes you feel like you made a smart choice instead of wondering what you got yourself into.

What Our Guests Say
Great owners, honest room. The old town and the beach are nearby, ~20 minutes walk
What could be improved: There is a parking lot, it is not always convenient to enter. But the owners are great. We will be there, we will come again
Comfortable and clean accommodation in a quiet location, excellent communication with the owner, I recommend it.
Apartment was clean, host was very friendly.
What could be improved: Nothing
Spotless clean apartment with very polite and friendly owner.
You will recieve here everything that you need. Most important for us was free parking, that was reserved. Very convient exit to main road for traveling around. You can use good eqiped kitchen and cook something from supermarket nearbe. We had garden view room, and it was unexpected quiet, altough you need to remember that in a high season Budva is very busy. Thanks to a host, we really enjoy with our stay here. Absolutely recommended.
What could be improved: Nothing to say.
Everything worked smoothly, the host was nice, room was clean etc. Especially the balcony was very nice π
What could be improved: Nothing really. The location is a bit far from the beach and old town but this we of course knew beforehand, and then on the other hand two very nice restaurants were nearby (Forsage Gastro Lounge and Konoba Bocun).
Everything in the room was very clean. The staff is also very hospitable. We are very pleased.
Nice private villa in the residential area. The owners are very kind people. Everything clean.
The location was great & in a quiet street. We enjoy walking & found that it was relatively close to all the main attractions. The hosts were amazing.
perfect location, clean & very welcoming hosts.
